We are now ready for another review. We will cover two ideas. Repeat the exercise if you find your mind wandering, but try to spend the major part of the time listening quietly but attentively. There is a message waiting for you. Do not allow your intent to waver in the face of distracting thoughts. Realize that, whatever form such thoughts may take, they have no meaning and no power. Replace them with your determination to succeed.

Welcome to Active Meditation,

A Course Lesson 147 Review Lessons 133 and 134.

Begin each day by opening your mind,

Clearing it of all thoughts that would deceive you.

Let this thought alone engage your mind fully and remove the rest of your thoughts.

Mind holds only what I think.

Let each idea which you review today give you the gift that God has laid in it for you to have.

Mind holds only what I think of God.

Let's review.

Lesson 133.

Say in your mind,

I will not value what is valueless.

Spend some time appreciating the meaning that these words contain for you.

I will not value what is valueless.

Let each word shine with the meaning God has given it,

As it was given to you through God's voice.

I will not value what is valueless.

Let each idea we review today give you the gift that God has laid in it for you.

Lesson 134 Review Say to yourself,

Say in your mind,

Slowly,

Let me perceive forgiveness as it is.

Let me perceive forgiveness as it is.

See the gifts,

The meaning the words contain for you.

Let them be received as they were meant to be.

Let me perceive forgiveness as it is.

Let me perceive forgiveness as it is.

Add no other thoughts to them,

But let these thoughts be the messages that they are.

Let me perceive forgiveness as it is.

Let me perceive forgiveness as it is.

Each day of practicing,

As we review,

We close as we begin.

Repeating the thought that is restoring the world,

Moving us from darkness to the light,

From grief to joy,

Moving us from pain to peace,

From sin to holiness.

Mind holds only what I think is valueless.

Let me perceive forgiveness as it is.

Nothing real can be threatened,

Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.
