Nonduality And The Law Of Attraction

The Law of Attraction holds a lot of power for people. It used to here as well.
There are two base-point elements about LoA that don't mesh with non-duality, even though there is room in Oneness for it to be:
1. What Is isn't good enough.
2. The idea that you know what's good for you (and have control).
Non-duality requires no belief, no faith, hope, wishing, visualizing. It requires nothing and that's what makes it so beautiful.

I want to talk today about the law of attraction and I think this can probably be a touchy subject for some Because People like to feel like they're in control Like to feel like they can make things better and there as I mentioned in another video there was a lot of Law of attraction visualization that was happening here for many years But it is I Hesitate to say there's things wrong with it because there isn't anything wrong with it It just never It will never get you It will never bring you home. It will never Fully give you what it is that you are seeking And the other thing about it that's interesting is that it starts with a couple of assumptions a Couple of false assumptions if you will One of those is and I would say the strongest one Is that what? You are what you have what is is not good enough So it's and that's that's that's an inarguable point almost You anything that you say about yeah, I'm perfectly satisfied with everything that's going on right now, But I Want more money I want you know to lose weight I want to be better I whatever you fill in the blank. It doesn't really matter but it starts with that base point of Desire This isn't good enough So I desire some other state for this event for this person to love me for You know to be loved to to be more successful, Etc, Etc The second thing is that it actually has The assumption That you know what's good for you How often how many times in our lives we wished for some outcome and It didn't it didn't come to fruition and it ended up being the best thing ever. I See a lot of videos that will mention in In they'll mention not and they'll talk about non-duality and Advaita and You and then also in other videos talk about Visualization and the law of attraction now a lot of times these channels are not specific to Non-duality and Advaita there may be personal growth Personal growth channels or whatever and they're they're fine But it's it's very very difficult to state That with non-duality There's no separate self Everything is perfect as it is But then also Encouraging The law of attraction in another video. I saw a I saw a great a great post on Twitter last night and it was a picture of one of those shopping carts in A parking lot with a little kitty cars in front And it was a picture of One of those shopping carts in a parking lot with a little kitty cars in front, You know with the With the steering wheels and it said he said you go on You keep driving things you're in control and I thought that was a perfect example of This notion that we have control of our lives that we have free will and and The law of attraction visualization is is It's similar along those lines. It's this this feeling that we have control and there were able to to to Change outcomes and bend things to our will because of desires and Attachments to things and the way that we we feel that that is best for us There there are people that are Attempting visualization attempting the law of attraction and then things don't work out and so they think and and feel That they're doing something wrong What am I doing? What am I doing wrong in? In my law of attraction practice, I would think that that's funny, But It causes suffering it it's it there the person's already First of all, They view themselves as a separate person. They view themselves as a separate person That has the ability to control things that is Not good enough at that things aren't good enough as they are that that that what is Isn't enough. It's Super easy Super ego mind body mind based And then on top of that on top of a lot of those base elements that are ripe for suffering Their attempts to change their world to change things are not going as they intend and so they feel like they're doing it wrong You are perfect as you are Things are perfect as they are this is how Things are supposed to be this is it period Your success with Success with visit visualization your success with the law of attraction It won't bring you home It won't complete you it won't bring you back to it won't stop That seeking that that that disconnect that you feel And let's say you visualize a new car a new job and you get it You get there it happens And then and then what happens after that there's just there's a wanting for more Acceptance of what is is the key to freedom is the key to Joy arising is the key to happiness Acceptance of what is Acceptance of what is This is it This is all they'll there will ever be it's perfect And you you don't need to visualize your way out of this This Accept this moment moment by moment As it unfolds as it is as perfect because that's what it is and that's what it will always be
