Good morning,
Dear one.
Allow yourself to make any adjustments here to your physical structure to increase some comfort.
It might be nice to invite some movement into your body.
Maybe that's wiggling a little bit,
Creating a little bit more space for yourself,
Or perhaps it's bringing your knees up to your chest and giving yourself an embrace.
Simply allowing sweet time to support you here in any movements to allow deeper comfort into your body.
And then making any adjustments,
Perhaps that's moving your blanket or finding a little bit of length through your spine or the back of the neck.
And then allowing yourself to settle in here.
Settling in by feeling the embrace of gravity support you here in the comfort that you are resting in.
Allowing your eyes to soften and get a little heavier.
And then bringing your attention to this breath now.
And allowing your breath to travel inward a little softer than usual.
Allowing some fresh nourishing oxygen pouring in and as you exhale,
Letting go and releasing any stagnation that may have built up overnight.
Allowing some smoother,
Longer breaths to travel through your body,
Releasing any stagnation,
Any built up,
Tenser energy from the night.
And starting to visualize a grounding cord that travels down from your spine and it travels down through the tailbone,
Down through the earth,
Moving deeper through the layers of the earth until it reaches the center of the earth,
At which point this cord starts to widen.
So you might envision it being the circumference of a bowling ball or maybe even a trash can,
Or even wider,
Like an ancient tree.
Realizing yourself melting into this and really feeling that energy traveling down into the earth.
And so that now when you breathe in fresh oxygen,
You can exhale and release any of gray energy or stagnation from last night down into this cord,
Down into the earth to be composted.
Each fresh breath is a cleansing release.
Letting go of any conscious effort of your breath now and feeling yourself really settle in here just as you are,
However the night may have been,
You are here now and letting yourself release anything that has occurred prior to now,
Prior to this moment,
Allowing yourself to settle by feeling your bones get a little heavier as they sink in to the surface beneath you.
Bringing all your attention to the back part of the body,
The back of your head,
Shoulders,
Your back itself,
Hips and legs,
Allowing your attention to travel down to any parts of the body that are touching the surface.
And on your next exhale feeling yourself sink in and allow this connection to deepen,
Deepening your connection to the support of the earth that's rising up here to meet you.
Feeling your subtle heartbeat that radiates love through your body,
It's like you're in this cocoon supported by the earth and internally having love coursing through.
Finally begin to bring your attention up to the top of your head now and feeling that when you breathe in there's that fresh oxygen,
Some lightness traveling up to the crown of your head,
It's almost like there's a gentle clearing and spaciousness that begins here as you breathe,
Picturing the air traveling up through the brain,
Through all of the grooves,
Clearing out and when you exhale it travels down through the grounding cord into the earth.
Breathing in a fresh wave of oxygen flows in and travels down into the forehead area,
Feeling a wave of fresh air coming in and clearing the mind,
Allowing some fresh oxygen,
Clarity to come in.
Your jaw gently releases and you can feel your tongue softening in your mouth,
Your ears melt towards the earth and the brows gently move apart.
This spaciousness,
This clarity that's in the mind travels down into the throat now so when you inhale you can feel a rising clearing in the throat and an exhale releases any stagnation down through the grounding cord.
Breathing in there's spaciousness for your voice,
Clearing space for your authenticity,
Your authentic expression through your sound today.
Exhale to clear.
You can feel your shoulders really releasing away from the ears,
Letting go of any worries or anything that you've carried forward through the night,
Allowing it to rest now and so really allowing it to rest now and so really feeling your right arm starting to melt into the support beneath you.
You can feel all the bones in the arm relaxing into the muscles and then feel and sense your right thumb,
Right thumb bringing all your attention to the felt sense of your right thumb and feeling the nail in the nail bed softening and all your attention travels to the pointer finger,
The nail bed softening allowing the nail to get heavier,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
And pinky finger.
The whole right palm softens and as you breathe there's some fresh oxygen traveling into this hand and a wave of gratitude pours into this hand.
Gratitude for all that it will do for you today.
Your attention gently travels over to the left shoulder now as your left arm begins to soften and melt,
Feeling all the weight of any worries pouring down from the shoulder down into the earth any worries pouring down from the shoulder down into the earth and the bones soften in the arm allowing the arm to get heavier and then your attention melts down into the left thumb feeling sensing the nail in the nail bed beginning to melt and the same for the pointer finger middle finger,
Ring finger,
And pinky finger feeling the whole left hand now whole left hand and allowing gratitude to pour in.
Gratitude for this left hand that's going to do so much for you today supports you in clothing and eating.
Gratitude here and your attention now travels up the arm into the chest the heart center and you can feel this area that's encompassing the lungs and so that when you breathe there's that fresh oxygen pouring in gently as you exhale it clears out releasing down through the grounding cord breathing in feeling the heart this love and care that's present in the chest you can feel some spaciousness some clearing out of any emotions from earlier in the night and exhaling worries allowing some space into the chest it's like the lungs are supporting that by breathing in creating spaciousness through the rib and there's a gentle release and embrace as the lungs come towards the heart giving it a little squeeze a clearing out gentle inhale of gratitude and love pouring in exhale feeling a softening a letting go and allowing of all emotions to be present and move through and then bringing your attention down into the solar plexus this powerhouse your point of power and as the breath moves through there's a gentle clearing here exhaling releasing through the grounding cord and then bringing your awareness into your digestive system feeling and sensing the liver now this detoxification and gratitude for all that it does and then feeling into the stomach and the upper left side of the abdomen breathing in appreciation for all the digestion that occurs the breaking down of the nourishment that you place into the body and then traveling down to the small intestine and it's like there's a light that begins to move through the intestine and the large intestine and this light creates space creates movement as there is a space between the large intestine and the small intestine clearing happening through the intestinal tract feeling appreciation for this ability to release and clear what no longer is needed you can feel all of that energy that's no longer needed traveling out and down through the grounding cord and bringing your attention down into the right hip feeling and sensing the whole internal hip cavity and then traveling through the bone structure of the right leg down into the right leg the knee the lower leg and into the ankle and concentrating all your awareness into the right big toe feeling sensing the right big toe second toe third toe fourth toe and fifth toe feeling the whole right foot now and awareness travels over into the left hip feeling sensing the whole left hip the whole socket and then traveling awareness down through the bone down the upper leg into the knee and then down the two bones in the lower leg into the left ankle and all your awareness pulls into the left big toe feel your left big toe second toe third toe fourth toe and fifth toe awareness travels back up into the pelvic region feeling this area of creativity vast openness here you can feel that as the breath travels into this area in the pelvic bowl there is kind of like a wind that moves through and clears out bringing in freshness aliveness your breath now clears out and moves out any stagnation down the grounding cord there's a clearing occurring here down and out through the tailbone through the base of the spine you can feel that with the breath this area has so many nerve endings and they're receiving all this glowing energy enlivening and enriching your life your life force the whole central column begins to light up from the base of your spine all the way up moving up through the central column up through the crown of your head the whole central column illuminated with light now and this light starts to expand this glow expands out to encompass your shoulders your hips your arms legs hands and feet until the whole body encompassed with this golden glow whole body encompassed in your awareness feeling the whole body now and then tuning into the fluidity in this body so that as you breathe it's like the tides rolling in and then washing out into the ocean when you breathe in you can feel this fluidity expanding rising and as you exhale it clears out releasing and so you can follow this breath and this wave of fluidity through the body as a wave that rises up from the feet up to the ground of the head and as you exhale it gently releases recedes down and out through the feet and through the grounding core breathing in a fresh fluidity pouring up to the top of the head exhale releases down feeling a subtle heaviness a letting go with clarity inhales rising up the body exhales flowing down and continue to watch this pattern flowing through the body we'll now transition into exploring pairs of opposites and so simply follow my voice as I guide you through we'll begin by imagining confusion lack of clarity what does confusion perhaps being in the fog fog what sensations thoughts images arise when you're in the fog there's a lack of clarity this fog gently starts to fade away as it recedes you start to feel and sense more clarity clear vision understanding and insight what images sensations arise with clarity imagining clarity releasing that and beginning to imagine denseness heaviness and density feeling sensing anything that arises with density density this denseness starts to slowly change and lift and there's a lightness that begins to form spaciousness lightness spaciousness what arises for you when you welcome in spaciousness feeling and sensing spaciousness imagining being in a cave curled up coziness inward darkness curled up in this cocoon and imagining that now starting to slowly fade away and you begin to step outside of the cave and begin to see some light coming in and there's an awakening and openness to explore lightness around what images thoughts or sensations arise with the lightness that comes in spreading out the limbs and now you feel yourself entering into a space where there is a clear meadow meadow an opening in the sky and you look around and you can feel that there's warmth in the air there are wild flowers growing around and there's a soft patch of grass grass now you walk towards and you feel yourself sinking in to rest here so you allow yourself to lie down and look up at the open sky there are a few gentle clouds that roll by and you can feel the mountains that are around you it's like a sacred bowl that you have entered into in this meadow this bowl created by the mountains and so there's this sturdy support and protection around you and you can feel the safety in this freshness this landscape there's a gentle stream that runs by you can feel and hear the sound of the water gently drifting through creating clarity in the air you breathe in this fresh nourishing oxygen and as you allow yourself to really rest you can feel an opening in your mind and as you look up at the sky you can see gentle breeze blowing by that butterflies are drifting on and birds similarly play with this wind and you can feel this gentle breeze moving caressing your skin there's a peacefulness here that you rest into you can feel your heart beginning to soften and open opening up to the messages that are here for you you welcome in any spirit guides that are of the highest vibration and here for your highest good your highest good you can feel them gathering coming closer with so much attention care grace and love and they are deeply present here for you and you feel this open-hearted connection and as you now receive any insights and wisdom that are here for you today you might receive this through a felt sense in the body you might hear the messages or see them written out you might see visions and perhaps there's spaciousness and peace that you rest in simply with them allowing yourself to rest here now and receive you receive a signal that things feel now complete and you take a moment to feel the loving gratitude that's here between you and the universe and all of those that are present here to uplift and support you the gratitude flows in every direction and there's a gentle breeze that almost uplifts you all you feel this lightness and after this acknowledgement you recognize that this divine support this love is here for you at any moment and will be present throughout the day you feel yourself beginning to come back into your body as you are lying here now now feeling your awareness traveling in sensing the delight of this breath that nourishes you you sense into whether you would like to lie here longer and soak up the effects of this yoga nidra or whether you'd like to begin transitioning into your day so you're welcome to rest here just as you are or begin to invite subtle movement and stretches into the body as you awaken have a love filled and blessed day sweet one
