Hello dear one,
Welcome to this moment,
This sacred pause where we can let go of all that we are carrying and open ourselves to the infinite support surrounding us.
Today we will explore the art of surrender,
Of softening our grasp and inviting the universe to flow freely through us.
Sometimes,
In our eagerness to create,
We can tighten our grip,
We push and pull and strive and cling to the outcomes,
Believing it is all up to us,
But this energy,
Though well-intentioned,
Can often block the very miracles that we seek.
Manifestation is a dance,
Not a solo performance.
It requires both our active participation and our willingness to step back and trust and allow.
So as we move through this meditation,
We will deepen into a state of profound relaxation and gently release the need to control.
We will remember how to balance our doing with allowing,
Our striving with surrender,
And then feel the loving embrace of something far greater than ourselves.
So let's begin.
Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position,
Close your eyes down and take a deep,
Slow breath in through your nose,
Bring it up into your chest and hold it gently for a moment.
And exhale through your mouth like a long sigh of relief.
Let's do that again.
Breathe in deeply.
Breathe out deeply.
Hold and exhale.
With each breath,
I invite you to feel your body becoming heavier and softer and more at ease.
Now,
Let your awareness travel to the weight of your body resting where you are.
Notice the support beneath you and how it holds you without effort,
Without condition.
And allow yourself to feel this support,
Not just physically,
But energetically,
Or held,
Or safe.
And now bring your attention to your heart space,
Imagining it as a soft,
Glowing light in the center of your chest.
With each breath,
See this light expanding,
Warming,
Softening.
If you've been carrying any tension,
Or worry,
Or anxiety,
Or a need to control,
Imagine this light melting those feelings away like sunlight melting ice.
With every exhale,
Release.
With every inhale,
Receive.
As you breathe,
I invite you to silently repeat these words to yourself.
I am willing to release.
I am willing to trust.
I am willing to allow.
Let these words ripple through your being like a wave,
Gently washing away any resistance you might be feeling.
Now picture a river.
See its clear,
Sparkling waters flowing effortlessly.
The river does not force its way forward.
It does not cling to the rocks or the branches in its path.
It simply flows.
Imagine yourself as this river.
Allow yourself to feel its ease,
Its trust,
Its surrender to the natural currents.
You are the river.
Let go of anything you may still be clinging to and let it flow downstream.
As you rest in this flow,
Reflect for a moment on what it feels like to release,
To surrender,
To allow,
To allow space for the universe to weave its magic into your life.
The things that you desire are not far from you.
They are already on the way.
They just need some space to arrive.
And by letting go,
You are creating that space.
And once again,
Silently to yourself,
Repeat these affirmations.
I release the need to control.
I trust in the divine timing of my life.
I surrender my grasp and open to the flow.
Feel these words settle into you.
And let them anchor you into this state of trust.
Taking a moment now to simply rest in this energy.
Imagining yourself held and loved and supported by the vast universe.
Feeling the gentle rhythm of your breath like a quiet reminder that life moves through you,
Not because of you.
When you are ready,
Begin to gently bring your awareness back to your body.
Wiggling your fingers and your toes.
Noticing the surface beneath you again.
And as you open your eyes,
Allow yourself to carry this energy of surrender with you into the rest of your day.
Just remembering that you are never alone in this dance of creation.
