Welcome to our Yoga Nidra Guided Sleep Meditation session, designed to help you experience deep relaxation and enjoy a restful night's sleep. Yoga Nidra, often called "yogic sleep," is a powerful practice that induces profound relaxation while maintaining awareness, making it an ideal technique for preparing the body and mind for deep rest. In this guided meditation, you'll be gently led through a series of instructions to release tension from your body, calm your mind, and enter a state of complete relaxation. Starting from your toes and moving upward, you'll progressively relax each part of your body, allowing stress and tension to melt away. Throughout the session, you'll focus on your breath, syncing it with your movements and guiding your mind into a state of tranquility. Visualizations and affirmations will further deepen your relaxation, helping you to let go of any worries or thoughts that may be keeping you awake.

Hello and welcome to Beneath the Surface.

A 30-minute relaxation journey that combines breathwork,

Yoga nidra,

And a tranquil exploration of the underwater world.

Let's begin by preparing our bodies and minds for deep relaxation with a brief breathwork session.

So start by laying down and nestle in.

Make sure that you are comfortable and relaxed.

Allow your eyes to gently close and take a moment to center yourself.

Then gently begin by taking slow,

Deep breaths in through your nose,

Allowing your abdomen to fully expand and then exhale fully through your mouth.

Inhaling fully through your nose,

Your abdomen expands and exhaling it deflates like a balloon.

For the next coming moments,

The only task is to observe the rising With each inhale,

Imagine filling your body with peace and tranquility and with each exhale,

Release any tension or stress you may be holding onto.

Take a few more deep breaths like this,

Allowing yourself to fully let go and surrender to the present moment.

2 Observe that gentle rise and fall of your belly deeper into the surface beneath you.

Now gently begin to scan your body from head to toe,

Noticing any areas of tension or discomfort.

Imagine sending waves of relaxation to these areas,

Allowing them to soften and release.

Take this precious moment to heal and dissolve any tension within your body.

Allow your consciousness to move freely,

Bring your attention to your thoughts,

Emotions,

And sensations.

Observing them without judgment or attachment,

Like passing clouds in the sky.

You are immersed in the stillness and peace within.

First we observe our body,

And as the observer we realize that we have a body.

Then the observer inquires further and start observing the mind.

And by observing the mind and the thoughts and the emotions,

We can realize that we are not our mind.

And this observer,

Of course,

Is pure consciousness by emotions and thoughts,

Or physical discomfort.

And as you exhale,

You let go of anything that doesn't serve you.

Now,

As we continue this journey beneath the surface,

Allow yourself to fully surrender to the present moment.

Embracing the deep sense of relaxation,

Feel the warmth of the sun penetrating the water's surface,

Casting mesmerizing patterns of light and shadow where towering kelp forests sway in the breeze.

The ebb and flow of the tide.

Listen to the soothing sounds of the waves,

Feeling a sense of calm wash over you as you surrender to the tranquility.

As we descend further into the depths,

The world around us grows darker and more mysterious.

Yet,

There is a serene beauty to be found in the quiet stillness of the deep sea.

Close your eyes and imagine yourself surrounded by bioluminous creatures,

Their soft,

Pulsating glow illuminating the darkness.

Feel a sense of wonder and awe as you witness the hidden wonders of the ocean's depth.

Stretching out before us,

A moment to connect with the earth beneath you.

The waves are raging,

But down beneath the surface is stillness and peace.

As our journey comes to an end and you slowly bring yourself back to the present moment,

I wish that you carry this sense of calm and relaxation you've experienced with you as you return to your day,

Knowing that you can always revisit the serenity of the underwater world.

And as always,

Stay blessed by the brave.
