Hello and welcome to Yoga Nidra.
Start by finding a comfortable position and don't hurry.
Make sure that everything is perfect,
Your pillow,
Your blanket and your clothes.
And as you nestle in and get completely comfortable,
Allow your eyes to gently close and bring your awareness to your breath,
Observe how the belly is rising as it enters the nostrils,
Travel down into your lungs and belly and then follow it from your belly to your lungs and out through your nose.
Observe the rhythm and with every exhalation let go of emotions that do no longer serve you.
As you inhale,
Visualize how a light is spreading through your body,
Dissolving any tension that you carry.
Feel how you with every exhalation is relaxing deeper and deeper.
If your mind wanders,
Gently bring it back.
Allow the past and the future to fade away.
Allow the distinction between you and the breath to merge.
Allow yourself to become this soothing rhythm.
There is nowhere to go,
There is nowhere to be.
Simply breathe.
We're not avoiding thoughts or feelings,
We're allowing them to come and go.
Not resisting them,
But simply allowing them.
The breath a little bit longer and a little bit deeper and seeing if the inhalations and the exhalations can be unanimous.
Allowing the to be like a wave that comes and as it goes it takes away all the negativity and all the stress that you are carrying.
Allowing the breath to be your anchor to the present moment.
Let the flow of conscious breathing to stimulate both body and mind.
Signaling to us that we're safe and in this safe calm haven,
Know that your love,
Feel that love emanating from the deepest part of your soul and with every breath you take it expands.
An unstoppable force growing within you.
The primordial force of the universe is echoing within you.
Following that steady pace and rhythm.
With every exhale the body is becoming heavier and heavier.
Almost impossible to open your eyelids.
All the tension in the forehead and the eyebrows have melted away.
Your head is resting heavy,
Supported by the earth beneath you.
Feeling how the muscles in your shoulders and neck rising.
Feeling how the relaxation is spreading down.
On this journey peace and love are your companions and the breath is your guide.
Allow yourself to take the backpack you've been carrying from as we together will count on from 27 like this.
Inhale 27 belly rises.
Exhale 27 belly falls.
Inhale 26 belly rises.
Exhale 26 belly falls.
Inhale 25 belly rises.
Exhale 25 belly falls.
Inhale 24 belly rises.
Exhale 24 belly falls.
Inhale 23 belly rises.
Exhale 23 belly falls.
Inhale 22 belly rises.
Exhale 22 belly falls.
Exhale 21 belly.
Inhale 20 belly rises.
Exhale 20 belly falls.
Inhale 19 belly rises.
Exhale 19 belly falls.
Inhale 17 belly rises.
Exhale 17 belly falls.
Continue this count until you reach one and if you lose track of your count gently start over at 27.
Gaze into the darkness beneath your closed eyes.
This space is known as Siddhasha and the ancient mystics and yogis explored it fully.
It's an infinite space stretching as far as the eyes can see and as you gaze into the abyss for long enough,
The abyss gazes back at you.
Colors and patterns might rise and fall.
This is your subconscious mind projecting.
Observe it without attachment.
Then in this dark space clearly visualize what you want the most in this world.
Visualize every detail of how this would look and see it as clear as if you would have your eyes open.
If you can clearly see it in your mind's eye,
You can manifest it.
You can manifest it.
Then reconnect with your breath.
Observing how the belly is rising and falling.
Allow it to guide you back to the place where the unbound love is emanating from.
Allow that unstoppable force of love to merge with the vision of what you want most out of this world.
Reconnect with the wisdom that you have always carried.
Reconnect with the strength that you forgot that you had.
And most of all,
Re-glove what is your birthright.
Are you disappearing in the phase of love?
Guided by this,
You have reached a serene and safe haven where you can drift off,
Restore and recharge.
May you go forth from here in abundance and love.
And as always,
Stay blessed by the breath.
