There are moments in life when we realize we are standing at a threshold,

A space between who we have been and who we are becoming.

Thresholds can feel tender,

Sometimes disorienting,

Even sacred in their uncertainty.

If you have found your way here today,

Trust that something within you is already moving.

You would not be called to the threshold unless you were ready to cross.

In many traditions,

Thresholds were honored.

They were not rushed.

People slowed down and they listened.

They made offerings.

And today we do the same.

Bring your awareness to your feet.

Feel the invisible ground beneath you holding you.

You are supported even here.

Take a breath and imagine that before you stands a doorway.

Notice its texture,

Its shape,

Its energy.

Now gently repeat within yourself,

I honor the season I am leaving behind and I welcome the life that is opening before me.

I welcome the life.

I do not need to have everything figured out and I trust the wisdom that is guiding me.

I trust the wisdom.

Bring one hand to your heart if it feels natural and sense the quiet intelligence beating within you.

Repeat softly,

I am allowed to grow.

I am allowed to change.

I release what no longer belongs to me.

I release.

Imagining a subtle light beyond the doorway,

A welcoming light,

A light to simply remind you that something beautiful is already unfolding.

So take a slow breath in and when you feel ready,

Imagine yourself stepping forward.

One conscious step,

Crossing the sacred threshold.

Noticing what shifts inside of you as you cross.

Let the sound hold you as your nervous system registers this movement.

You are safe to expand,

Safe to walk towards your new life.

Repeat after me,

I trust the timing of my life.

I trust the timing.

I trust what is unfolding.

I trust what is unfolding.

I step forward,

Supported and loved.

I am so loved.

Rest here for a few moments and allow the sound to integrate.

Feel the ground beneath you.

Feeling your body.

Your breath.

The quiet courage it takes to honor this change.

Know that you do not walk alone.

Life walks with you.

Take a deep breath in and gently exhale.

When you are ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

You have crossed something today.

Crossed a threshold into a new way of being.

A new way of being you.

A new world.
