I'm Jonna,
And thank you for joining me in this practice.
I have my journal with me right here and I am here.
Getting ready to start a practice called automatic writing.
In which I allow everything that's in my heart to flow out on the paper.
Automatically.
Automatically means.
Without the inhibition.
And the distractions.
And the doubt.
And the judgment.
Of the mind.
So in order to do this automatic writing.
I usually prepare myself by doing a meditation first.
I am going to guide you through that meditation so that you can practice automatic writing.
Whenever you wish.
Join me in a comfortable seated position.
And let's begin.
Prepare our mind.
And heart.
For automatic writing.
You can gently close your eyes.
And just notice.
The difference.
In the body.
With the eyes closed.
And let your hands rest wherever they're comfortable.
And just notice the contact of your hands.
With your body or where they rest.
Notice where your body.
Touches your seat or the floor.
So there's a lot of contact.
Between your body parts.
And other elements of the space.
Things of which we are not generally aware.
Unless we bring our attention to them.
What we will focus on now.
What we will bring our attention to.
Is what resides within you.
In the heart.
So go ahead and place a hand on your heart space.
And I want you to ask yourself.
With your hand on your heart.
What makes my heart sing?
What do I yearn for in my life right now?
And right now is in this moment.
In this stage of your life.
Today.
What does your heart yearn for?
You can let your hand rest where it was.
And just notice the warmth.
In your heart space of where your hand was.
I want you to visualize that warmth expanding.
All around your heart.
So that your heart can open itself.
To what it yearns for.
To what it wants.
And in this openness.
There is also a letting go.
Of everything that inhibits us.
From allowing us.
To want what's in our heart.
To letting go of the shoulds.
Of what we should be doing or what we should want.
Perhaps even what we should need.
So here we let go of the shoulds.
We no longer should all over our heart.
We just allow it to open.
What do you want to bring into your life?
Or amplify in your life right now.
Let it be felt.
Perhaps allow your heart to feel even before the words form.
And you can even call this automatic sensing.
Sensing what's there.
Let it be felt.
And allow yourself to visualize.
Letting whatever that is.
Into your life.
What does it feel like?
You How do you walk?
With this in your life?
How do you carry yourself?
How do you speak?
Allow yourself.
To feel what it's like.
To let your heart sing.
To let your heart's desire be fulfilled.
Right now.
You And now we let the mind become aware.
Of what it is.
That you want.
Allow words to form.
Just a few words.
Asking yourself,
What do I want most right now?
And now.
.
.
Repeat those words.
In your mind.
So that they can be heard.
And recognized.
By the mind.
Let those words be known.
Visualized and being written.
In your journal as the title.
To your automatic writing journal entry.
See the world.
And feel them in your heart.
As you visualize them being written.
Let's take one breath together with the presence of these words.
And now gently open your eyes as you're ready.
And now.
I offer you.
A moment.
To open your journal.
With me as I do the same.
And I want you to write those words.
And that will be the beginning.
Of your automatic writing.
Entry for today.
You can go ahead and also write the date.
So you can remember.
When you wrote this.
As you begin to write.
Remember that openness.
And if thoughts of self-doubt or questioning or distractions of the mind come about.
Just remember.
The practice of automatic writing.
Is to be open.
Be weird,
Be silly,
Be playful.
And let yourself be honest.
About what is in your heart.
Thank you for joining me.
