Where does my heart feel truly at home? It whispered Italy but shouted the stars because home is not a place. It is the pulse within me, Song between the breath and my guides. It is in the stillness, In the knowing. It is me. What does me time mean now? It is no longer escape. It is embrace. It is not numbing but noticing. No more scrolling through the static or pouring into the glass. Now I pour into presence, Into music, Into moonlight, Into the arms of that which has always waited, Patiently, For my return.
