Welcome to the breathing room.
I'm Kavita,
And this meditation is designed to help you integrate and reconnect with clarity after moments of change.
You might be here after the new moon and eclipse,
Or it could be a time in your life where things feel in transition.
I'm in that stage myself right now.
Wherever you are,
This is the space to pause,
To breathe,
And to allow everything to settle.
Find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Close your eyes if that feels safe,
Or soften your gaze.
Begin with a slow,
Steady breath in through your nose,
And a gentle breath out through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale,
Filling your lungs with fresh air,
And exhale,
Letting go of any heaviness.
Now bring awareness into your body.
Notice the points of contact,
The ground beneath you,
The support of your seat,
The weight of your hands resting gently.
With each breath,
Allow your body to soften a little more,
As though you're being held.
Now imagine yourself standing in a gentle fog.
It's soft,
But it feels like it clouds your view.
While it's not threatening,
Notice how the fog represents any confusion,
Heaviness,
Or uncertainty you may be carrying.
With each inhale,
Imagine light beginning to rise within you.
Now,
With each exhale,
See the fog thinning,
Lifting,
Dissolving.
Continue for a few breaths,
Inhaling clarity,
Exhaling fog.
Slowly,
The fog begins to part,
Revealing clear light,
Open space,
And a steady path before you.
Take a moment to stand in that openness.
Breathe deeply here.
Feel what it's like to be in clarity,
Even for just this moment.
Silently or out loud,
I invite you to repeat after me.
I welcome what is ready to stay.
I release what's ready to go.
I trust the timing of my integration.
I am whole in this moment.
Now choose the phrase that resonates with you the most,
And allow it to settle into your heart.
Repeat it with your breath.
As we come to a close,
Rest in the feeling of clarity that you've cultivated.
Integration's about allowing the space for what is true to land in its own time.
Take one last deep,
Nourishing breath in,
And a slow,
Steady exhale out.
Gently bring awareness back to your body,
To the room.
And when you feel ready,
Open your eyes if they're closed.
Thank you for meditating with me today here in the breathing room.
May you carry this sense of wholeness and clarity with you into whatever comes next.
