What Level Am I Vibrating At? - The Female Stoic Podcast
This short is taken from a longer session of The Female Stoic podcast where we discuss how we can empower ourselves in a stoic way. In the 18th Century, the Blue Stockings Society was an informal women's social and educational movement in England that emphasised education and mutual cooperation. (Hence the wig!) The Female Stoic Podcast looks at the Stoic Philosophy through a Bluestocking Lens. It offers practical, non judgemental advice for women, with reference to the Female Literary Masters and the lessons they teach us. Your host Stephanie Poppins, is a former high school teacher of English Literature and Philosophy, and considers herself to be a Natural Born Stoic. Today's lesson is about the level we are vibrating at,
The level we choose to vibrate at.
And my question for you today is,
What do you expose yourself to?
In the 21st century everyone's an expert,
They're a teacher,
They're a writer,
They're a thinker,
They're a doer,
But actually this is just noise.
If we choose to,
We can pick out those moments,
Those voices,
That authenticity,
But we have to be mindful of that.
We have to make an elective decision to reduce down the volume of noise so we are actively seeking that.
Be mindful of just how vulnerable your inner peace is.
In order to protect that inner peace you have to be aware there are many externals and we are exposed to many of those and you have to electively reduce down the number of those you are exposing yourself,
Particularly those that are vibrating at a lower level.
