In this meditation,

We will come into a relaxed state and then journey through the human energetic system known as the chakras.

This manner of comprehending energy is based on ancient knowledge that all life is energetic and spiritual in origin.

So let's begin.

Find a comfortable space to settle in,

Somewhere where you can lie down or sit comfortably and relax.

Start to soften the body,

Relaxing the eyes,

The jaw,

Softening the shoulders,

The belly.

And just start noticing your breath.

Notice as the belly rises and falls as you inhale and exhale.

Just letting everything melt away,

Preparing yourself to receive,

To feel refreshed and renewed and to feel more connected with your energetic system.

So let's begin with focusing on the root chakra or muladhara in Sanskrit,

Which is located at the base of the spine or the tailbone.

Bring your awareness to this area,

Picturing in your mind's eye the color red,

Which represents this energy center.

Someone once said,

When the root is deep,

There is no reason to fear the wind.

That is because being grounded and feeling safe and having security are very important.

Still placing your focus at the base of the spine,

The root chakra is the foundation of the energy system.

It holds our core issues,

Such as our basic needs,

That sense of security,

The condition of our home and family life,

And how we feel about ourselves.

Let's resonate with the crystal singing bowl that is matched in frequency to the root chakra as we explore affirmations for boosting this center.

I live from my integrity.

I am safe.

I am supported.

I know who I am.

I am centered and balanced.

I trust in the process of life with its peaks and valleys.

And from this strong foundation,

I know I can handle all that life brings.

Now just breathe.

Now moving your awareness up to the next center,

The sacral chakra,

Located just below the navel and above the pelvic bone.

In Sanskrit,

The sacral chakra is called Svatasthana.

This energy space is the source of creativity,

Pleasure,

Intimacy,

Deservedness,

And prosperity.

Eric Fromm said,

Creativity requires the courage to let go of certainties.

So let go now,

Visualizing the color orange,

Which represents this energy center,

And keeping your awareness in the space in the lower belly.

Find your courage here with these affirmations while relaxing to the singing bowl tuned to the sacral chakra.

My power lies in my sensitivity.

I am creative.

I am confident in my body,

And it is sacred.

I enjoy the pleasures of life.

I am a divinely created being.

My journey is my own,

And I claim it now.

Now rest and just listen.

Then moving on to the solar plexus,

Or monopura in Sanskrit,

Located at the diaphragm in the center just below the ribs.

Think of this as a glowing yellow like the sun,

A powerful energy center from which we gain our confidence,

Our self-esteem,

Our ability to accept others and ourselves,

And to feel our personal power.

Personal power is the ability to take action,

Tony Robbins.

Tap into your personal power now as we listen to the sound that matches the energy,

Focusing on the diaphragm,

And feel these words of affirmation.

I feel my own power.

I accept myself just as I am.

I am strong,

Confident,

And worthy of love.

I live in my authenticity.

I embrace my true self.

I have strength and energy to pursue my passions.

Take a deep breath here and rest.

Bring your attention now to the center of your chest.

The heart chakra,

Anahata,

As it's known in its native language,

Is connected to the colors green and pink.

This area is believed to be the bridge between the physical realm,

All of the energy centers that we mentioned before,

And the spiritual realm,

As seen in the rest of these energy centers.

The anahata is the space for love,

Compassion,

Joy,

Inner peace,

And connection.

Our true self's very nature is loving,

Kind,

And respectful.

So open your heart,

Be still,

And listen to your heart's song as the sound inspires you to come back to that true self and explore these words.

I am able to give and receive love.

I am worthy of love and acceptance.

I operate from a foundation of love.

I see and experience beauty everywhere I go.

I know that in truth,

We are all connected and that love is our true essence.

Now be still.

Take your awareness now up to your throat,

The space of the throat chakra energy center or vishuddha.

Represented by the color turquoise blue,

This area is all about communication and speaking your truth.

Buddha said,

Words have the power to both destroy and heal.

When words are both true and kind,

They can change the world.

So take a moment here to tune in and ask yourself,

Am I speaking my truth?

Not being worried about what others think,

But being true to yourself through expressing what is really true and important for you.

Rest your attention on the throat here and keep open to the vibrations of the vishuddha chakra.

I express myself with clear intent.

I speak my mind with clarity and compassion.

I have an important voice.

I speak my truth,

But also listen.

My integrity is my word and my word is my truth.

I trust my inner voice.

So take a breath in and listen.

Now bring your attention to the space between the eyebrows,

The ajna or third eye chakra.

Intuition,

Imagination,

Wisdom,

Making decisions and mental clarity come from this area.

Represented by the color indigo blue.

Dean Cootes said,

Intuition is seeing with the soul.

This invisible eye is there to help us see the things that are not visible.

It provides the energy to experience clear and concise thought,

As well as the gifts of spiritual reflection and inner contemplation.

So focus in on that space between the brows and listen as we catch a glimpse of the ajna sound.

I follow my intuition.

I trust my decisions.

I align my consciousness with the source of all life.

I trust my highest good and greatest joy are unfolding.

I see clearly.

As I tap into my inner wisdom,

I know that all is well with my world.

And now be still.

And moving now to the final energy center located at the crown of your head,

The crown chakra or sahasrara in Sanskrit.

This is your connection to spirit,

Unity with all in the universe,

Blissfulness,

Divine peace and enlightenment.

Represented by the colors of violet and bright white,

This energy center,

When activated,

Can help you go beyond limiting beliefs.

It allows you to surrender to a higher power.

Now open up and receive,

Taking in these affirmations for the crown.

I nourish my soul.

I am divinely guided and inspired.

I am infinite and boundless.

I honor and protect my divine spirit.

I accept who I am and honor the spirit within me.

I am grateful for all the good things and people in my life.

My spirit loves beauty,

Harmony,

Peace and joy.

Now rest and let all of these energy centers align as you continue with full inhales and exhales.

Remaining relaxed and I will keep track of the time.

Now start to bring your awareness back.

Slowly awakening the body and the mind.

And when you're ready,

Flutter the eyes open.

Welcome back.
