Teàrlach Eshu Martin Kilgour

Eshu is fascinated by the power and capacity of the mind, and how we can intentionally utilize non-ordinary states of consciousness to bring about transformation and seemingly miraculous changes in how we experience our lives. Hypnosis has been an interest since he was a child, and Trancework through meditation, ceremony, and ritual has been a major part of his life. He has been exploring his own consciousness as an ordained Rinzai Zen priest and teacher for over 25 years. Eshu identifies as an Ancestral Animist, teaching that coming from a place of deep rootedness on one's own origins and cultivating reciprocal relationships with all beings is the foundation of reconciliation. For 6 years, Eshu was the Spiritual Health Coordinator for Victoria Hospice, which is also where his interest in psychedelic therapy began - and eventually, he became a facilitator and mentor for a ketamine-assisted therapy program. Eshu is a father, an actor, a singer, a story and myth-teller, and a Gàidhlig (Scottish Gaelic) language and culture reclaimer. Most of all, he values magick; and for him, the transformation that is possible through the power of the human mind and spirit is the most magickal thing of all.
