Loving-kindness meditation is a gentle practice that invites us to open our hearts with compassion, first toward ourselves and then outward to others. With each breath, we offer kind wishes, such as “May I be safe, may I be well,” slowly expanding to include loved ones, strangers, and even those we find challenging.
