Hi,

This is Suzanne.

I'm going to take you through a five minutes break to reconnect and to find your footing.

Find a comfortable seat,

Close your eyes or find a soft gaze and let's begin.

Start by noticing your breath,

Try not to alter or to change it in any way.

Just see if you can find the curiosity like it is the first time you notice your breath.

Going in through your nose and out through your nose.

When your mind starts wondering,

As minds do,

Try to find the same curiosity towards that thought or sensation.

Notice non-judgmentally and see if you can find your way back to your breath in and out.

Observe where you feel the sensation of breathing most strongly.

Maybe feel the cool air at the edges of your nostrils when you inhale or as a bodily sensation as the breath travels down through the chest and down into the abdomen.

How does the breath find its way inside your body?

Perhaps though you feel the breath most clearly in the moment the warm air touches your upper lip on its way out.

Take a few moments to be curious,

Explore and wonder.

Breathe in and breathe out.

As we slowly prepare to get back to the present moment and to our daily routine,

Take this moment to give yourself praise for having the knowledge to see when you need to find your footing,

For showing up in your own life.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Start moving your fingers and toes,

Maybe a little stretch and gently open your eyes.

Thank you for choosing this meditation and thank you for every day you show up for yourself.
