When tired doesn't feel like rest.

When the body slows down but the mind won't.

That's a kind of fatigue we don't talk about much.

Mental exhaustion.

Not dramatic.

Not loud.

Just too full.

You've made it through the day.

But it's okay to stop carrying it now.

You don't need to think your way to rest.

You just need to arrive in it.

Let's begin.

Feel the pull of gravity.

The way your body wants to settle.

Let it.

Start at your forehead.

Soften it.

Let it be neutral.

Now your eyes.

Let them rest.

Heavy.

But not closed if they don't want to be.

Let the space behind your eyes be soft.

Drop your attention down into your chest.

Feel the quiet rhythm there.

Even if it's subtle.

Let your ribs fall with the breath.

Let your shoulders follow.

Now bring awareness to the back of your neck.

The weight of your head.

Let your whole spine feel long and loose.

Feel the weight of your hips against the surface beneath you.

Let your legs rest heavy.

Let your feet relax without needing to move.

If your body wants to fidget,

Pause.

If your thoughts want to pull you away,

Pause again.

You're not doing this wrong.

You're arriving in a slower rhythm.

One breath at a time.

Each exhale softens the fatigue.

Like gently wringing out a sponge.

Feel the low hum of stillness under everything else.

It's been there all along.

You're just allowing yourself to drop into it.

Now.

Sleep doesn't need to be earned.

You don't need to push yourself into stillness.

Let your mind soften.

Like a light dimming down.

Let this voice fade.

Let your effort fade.

There is nothing to hold on to now.

This is your reset.

Stay here.
