Hello soul being,
This is a guided meditation to open your heart and prepare you for a beautiful journaling experience.
So when you're ready,
Finding a comfortable position,
Whether you're sitting in your bed or sitting in a chair.
Lengthening out the spine.
Crown of the head tall,
Shoulders soft and relaxed.
Haven't already,
Gently interlocking the lashes as you close down your eyes and start to tune into your inner world.
Taking a moment to arrive here in your body.
Connecting to your breath.
Begin to slowly.
.
.
Breathe in through your nose.
And out through your mouth.
Every breath acting like a gentle love note to your body.
Noticing the wave of your breath.
Belly rising,
Belly falling.
And now gently bringing your attention to your heart center.
Right in the middle of your chest.
You might like to place one hand over there.
As we gently start to.
.
.
Breathe in a rhythm that creates coherence between your mind and your heart.
In for the count of five and out for the count of five.
Wherever you are,
Exhaling your breath.
Four,
Breathing in for two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Breathing in two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Fully in two,
Three,
Four,
5,
Fully out,
2,
3,
4,
5,
Couple more rounds at your own pace,
Belly expands and fills,
Slight pause at the top.
Before releasing all the way out.
4.
.
.
5.
.
.
Fully in.
Three,
Four,
Five.
Breathing out.
And continuing that rhythm as you bring awareness fully into your heart.
Imagining your breath moving in.
And out directly from the heart center.
Almost as if the heart itself is breathing.
With each inhale,
Invite a feeling of warmth,
Of openness,
Of safety.
And with each exhale,
Let go of anything you're carrying from yesterday,
From this morning.
From the moment before this one.
You are here now,
Present and open.
As we bring this meditation to a close.
Placing both hands over your heart now and repeating after me.
I'm okay.
I'm safe.
I'm loved.
I'm okay.
I'm safe.
I'm loud.
Take one more deep nourishing loving breath into the body.
And sigh it out.
Gently open your eyes.
Pick up your pen and the page is now ready for you.
Namaste.
