Feel the temperature of each inhale if it is cool or warm.
Focus on the points of your body that are in contact with the ground.
If you feel any need to adjust your body to achieve a more comfortable place,
Find that position and allow your body to rest easy.
Close your eyes if you have not already done so and relax into this journey.
It is time to tune into your higher self,

It requires you to release the desire to control your body and your mind.
Feel through your body and release any tensions that you are holding onto consciously and unconsciously.

Having a sense of trust to travel up through your feet from this very comfortable and healing ground through the entirety of your being.
Take a moment to deepen your breath.
Visualize the beautiful space that you are surrounded by.
It's a bright and peaceful place.
Notice any trees or animals that you can see in this space.
Listen to any sounds that appear around you.
This is a place where tension and judgment are not invited,
A space to explore the true self,
The unchanging spirit,
The self often obscured by our attachment to the physical world.
This is the true self that is where all desires and passion manifest.
Imagine standing in this space where comfort and calm reside.
Imagine the space that you are complete.
No tasks demand to be finished or command your attention.
A place where satisfaction and simple being can be maximized,
A space where you would like to invite a special guest to have a deep conversation over a hot kettle of fresh tea off an open fire.
Invite this special guest.
Wait a moment for them to appear.
Look at the glow of love surround them as they walk with confidence towards you.
They are relaxed,
Friendly,
And compassionate.
This may be a meeting you have been waiting for your whole life,
Or it could be a pleasant surprise you had not expected.
Invite this guest,
Your inner guide or higher self to sit.
Allow a natural conversation to unfold as if old friends.
You are old friends after all.
This journey together began long before this lifetime.
Ask your compassionate and knowledgeable guide a question or a concern that has been sitting in your mind's focus or one that has just popped up into your consciousness.
Give them a moment to answer.
This is why they are here,
To tell you what it is that your heart seeks in a loving and giving way.
Once your answer is given,
Thank them for showing up.
Give them gratitude for coming to give you resolve.
Ask them if you were ever to call on them again,
Would they show up to offer their guidance when you needed their wisdom and comfort?
The answer is yes.
