Hello,
And thank you for joining us for today's meditation.
We will start by getting into a very comfortable position,
Taking any last moments to stretch the feet,
The arms,
Whatever you need to settle in to your places.
When you find that nice sweet spot,
Go ahead and take a nice deep breath in,
And exhale,
Let it go.
Just starting to settle into the body,
Continuing to take these mindful,
Compassionate breaths,
Allowing your body to soften with each breath in,
Each breath out.
We will do a little breathing exercise to get you a little more relaxed into your body.
We're going to be doing an inhale through the nose for four,
Holding for four at the top,
And then exhaling for four through the mouth.
And let's go ahead and begin.
Gently inhale through the nose for three,

Let it go for three,

Deep breath in for three,
Two,
One,
And hold for three,
Two,

Let it go for three,

Go ahead and inhale through the nose all the way to the top,
Holding that breath,
Focusing your attention on the center of the forehead as you take a sip of air through the mouth.
Hold that breath for 10,

Let it go.
Come back to that natural rhythm in the breath and just notice how this breathing exercise connects you a little deeper to your body,
How it slows you down,
And hopefully feeling a little more relaxed.
I want you to now start to imagine yourself going down a staircase.
However this staircase looks like is perfect today,
And even if you can't see anything,
I want you to simply follow my voice.
Allow relaxation to occur naturally.
We are going to focus the mind and experience the way of going down one step at a time.
With each step you take,
Any tiredness you feel begins to melt away.
Anything weighing heavy on the body,
Melting,
You begin to breathe with more ease here.
As you see yourself reaching the bottom of the staircase,
You are going to see a door right in front of you.
You can go ahead and open this door and as you open it,
You will see a room full of light.
This is cosmic light.
As you enter,
You see yourself surrounded with stars all around you,
And you begin to feel your consciousness expanding.
You begin to feel free.
There are no worries,
No anxieties,
No past or future.
There is just the freedom of being.
Being who you are in this present moment,
This perfect being of light.
Feel yourself lying in the air,
In the lightness of being with no responsibilities,
No should,
No must,
Nothing that you ought to do.
Give yourself permission to float in this amazing space.
Spending some time here,
Resting in the most purest form.
We are just breathing.
There is nowhere else to be.
Nothing else to do.
You are safe to let go here.
We will keep the eyes closed here.
Take a nice deep breath in,
And exhale.
You can start to gently wiggle your toes whenever you're ready.
Wiggle your fingers.
Just notice how the body feels here.
Knowing that you can always come to this place whenever you need it.
May you carry this beautiful energy wherever you go,
And remember that peace is within you.
