Hello.
Good morning.
Good afternoon.
Good evening.
Good night.
Whatever time this finds you.
This is a meditation for invoking love.
More of a capacity to love others and to love ourselves and to be loved.
I'm currently sitting near an open window so if you hear any sounds we'll just let them pass by.
Accepting just the reality of this life that we're living right now.
I hear some birds chirping outside my window.
I want to invite you to maybe place a journal somewhere near you with something to write with.
This is optional for after.
No pressure for that.
Or if you're all settled find a comfortable place to meditate with me.
Just a short meditation on love.
You can do this sitting down.
You can do this lying down.
However you decide to find a seat.
Make it luscious.
If you need to pause this to get really comfortable do so.
We have time.
I like to lay on my back with my soles of my feet touching each other.
Knees splayed out with pillows underneath my knees just to give myself extra space,
Extra tenderness.
You may want to go into Shavasana.
You may want to sit up on a chair or a couch or a bed with pillows behind your back.
If you're in a car maybe let the seat back a little bit and just allow yourself this moment for love.
Remembering that love first starts as a seed inside of ourselves.
That seed can then be reflected back to us.
And all around this world,
All around this time that we are alive,
Those little seeds matter.
If you're comfortable now see if there's a way you can take up a little more space.
Press your shoulders down.
Maybe let the weight of the earth wherever it's touching you hold a little more so you can let go a little more.
Now that we're here I invite you,
If it feels good,
To bring your hands over your heart center,
One on top of the other,
Palm facing on your heart center.
You may want to bring your palms to your belly.
Anywhere is okay.
I like the heart center because it reminds me of the spark of ignition in our whole body.
Pulls me out of my head down into my heart.
I invite you to close your eyes.
Maybe even bring a soft smile to the sides of your lips.
We're gonna let our breath just be easy,
Any way that feels good,
But concentrate on following it.
Seeing where you can send more breath to places that you feel you may need some extra love,
Some extra attention.
As I read these words,
You're welcome to say them.
You're welcome to just soak them in.
Whatever feels good for you.
Give me the courage to love even when it's hard.
Give me the courage to forgive others that do harm.
Give me the courage to remember we are humans.
Give me the courage to forgive and love myself.
Give me the courage to love myself just the way I am right now.
The way I am right now.
Give others the courage to love me as I am right now.
I'm sorry.
I love you.
I forgive you.
I love you.
I'm sorry.
I love you.
I forgive you.
I love you.
Give me the courage to love myself just the way I am right now.
Maybe taking a deep breath into your belly all the way up through your back,
Over your spine.
Exhale with an open mouth,
Let it go.
Welcoming in any warmth,
Any sadness,
Any grief,
Any sweetness,
All are welcome here.
Have a peaceful journey.
