Imagine that the shape of you exists like a bowl.
And you can either fill it up with marbles or sand or liquid.
But imagine that just pouring into you.
And as each of the little parts,
The marbles,
The grains.
Settle next to each other.
They find a comfortable,
Cozy position.
A good snug fit.
What would it feel like?
To fit snugly into yourself.
And as you notice what you're noticing.
As in the mind moving from one thought to the next distraction.
For the next couple of minutes.
Pretend that anything you notice is merely a signal for you.
Turn back to your most inner.
Truest self.
You don't have to know what that is.
Just that you're.
Setting yourself into it,
The feeling of.
Looking towards your essence.
And notice I'm not saying directions because it could come from any direction,
Multiple directions.
Or seemingly from nowhere.
You Now go ahead and think of your son,
Culpa.
That short phrase of personal resolve.
And make sure to say it three times in your head right now.
Maybe make a mental note.
Of how you felt it reverberate through you.
Did it ring throughout you with ease?
Or did it feel more like you were trying to hold on to it?
Give it shape.
There are no wrong answers,
Just noticing.
And it's okay to say your Sankalpa to yourself multiple times in a day.
At different levels of awareness.
Picture yourself.
Mentally repeating your sankalpa sometime soon.
Perhaps when you turn off the next light.
Or on.
Your choice.
Let this go.
And call to mind the various parts of your body.
As I announce them.
Starting with the right hand thumb.
Right first finger.
Right middle finger.
Right ring finger.
Right little finger.
Palm of a hand.
Back of hand.

Shoulder.
Armpit.
Right side of chest.
Right side of waste.

Right second toe.
Right third toe.

Rather than sleeping.
Please be sure that you're following the sound of my voice.

Soul of foot.
Top of foot.
Left big toe.

Please be sure that you're following the sound of my voice.
Instead of sleeping.
All ten toes.
Both feet.
Both heels.
Both ankles.
Both calves.
Both knees.
Both thighs.
Both buttocks.
Lower back.
Mid-back.
Upper back.
Shoulder blades,
The space between the shoulder blades.
Spine.
Back of neck.
Back of head.
Top of head.
Forehead.
Eyebrows.
Temples.
Ears.
Cheeks.
Eyes.
All the muscles around the eyes.
Knows.
Nostrils.
Upper lip.
Lower lip.

Jaw.
Tongue.
Roof of mouth.
Back of throat.
Front of throat.
Collar bones.
Chest.
Abdomen.
Pelvis.
Right leg.
Left leg.
Right arm.
Left arm.
Right side of head.
Left side of head.
Right side of body.
Left side of body.
Back of body.
Front of body.
Whole body.
Whole body.
Whole physical body.
Letting this go.
Take your awareness to your breath.
If you would like to link this to the visualization from earlier,
Of your body bowl being full of marbles or sand.
Any combination.
In that vessel,
There is still more space.
Water could be poured in to fit in between.
Air is already in between.
Even if they're pressed together tightly,
There's still a space in between.
And that is the space we'll be breathing into.
The in-between within us.
That it fills up and complements what is there.
And starting.
With the element of air.
Imagine you are smelling the air.
While driving with the window down.
The different smells that come to you.
The smell of a windy day.
How with the air is moving fast enough,
You have to change the cadence of your breath to not have your breath taken away from you.
And give this smell.
A visual equivalent.
Maybe you see it as yellow liquid pouring in between the spaces of your in-betweens.
Three more breaths like this.
And moving your visualization senses.
To fire.
As an element.
Imagine smelling a bonfire on a fall night.
Maybe the smell of something cooking on a fire.
Give this a visualization component as well.
Filling up those interspaces and those in-betweens.
Maybe with something as simple as a yellow,
Red rather,
Color.
New spaces in between that seem perfectly suited for this visualization.
Fond memory of the smell of warmth.
And if you haven't already.
Visualizing hearing the night as you smell the bonfire.
And moving on to the element of water.
Imagine standing at the edge of a great body of water,
Smelling the sea.
The smell just after a rain.
Or that smell of the shower as it starts to steam up the bathroom.
Give this element a visual component,
Filling in those inner spaces,
Complementing what's already there.
Complementing it too.
It's your visualization.
The smells of water.
And its many forms.
Somehow completing the picture.
Filling in those spaces.
And the spaces between those spaces.
Water's good at that,
Getting to those in-betweens.
Take three more breaths.
Savoring the smell,
The liquid,
The fluid.
Switching your internal senses to the element of earth.
Rich potting soil.
Smell of a happy plant.
The perfumes of certain flowers.
Give this a visual element,
A color.
And further imagine.
That this is completing.
Complimenting.
Adding structure.
And shape.
Three more breaths.
Like vines growing,
Roots digging.
Imagine.
Electricity as an element.
Like the sharp ozone smell right before rain.
If it were safe to do so,
What would a thunderbolt,
A lightning bolt?
Smell like.
Sweet and thick or.
.
.
Sharp and bitter.
Adding that visualization,
Offering it up to the other visualizations you've been doing.
Crackle of symbolic spark.
And drawing in whatever final component.
That you need.
What is the thing that you need?
To feel filled up.
Does it or a part of it have a smell associated?
You.
Letting this go.
Letting this go and calling to mind the following feelings.
As vividly in your imagination and throughout the body as you are capable and comfortable of visualizing.
Feel all of your molecules pulling together.
Like at the center of you.
Is this dense,
Massive object that is pulling you into the center of yourself.
Of thinking and looking for your center.
You are pointed towards it.
Notice the body.
And which parts are responding most.
Is there a tightness and a solidity,
A denseness around the center of you?
And responding tightness somewhere within you.
Now from that very center.
Feel yourself spreading out.
Like the waves onto the shore.
Like the heat from bonfire.
Feel yourself expanding,
Growing bigger in your own imagination.
Radiating.
Notice how the cadence of the breath changes.
Which parts of the body are responding.
And how.
To letting that flow come from your center out.
Now imagine.
That at the very center of you.
Is a star.
Shining in the darkness.
Without judging,
Notice its brightness,
Notice its color.
Let it reveal itself to you.
For a moment.
Be the vacuum surrounding the star.
The empty space,
Hugging that central star at your very core.
Your imaginative representation of the center of you.
And notice any responses.
Images,
Feelings.
Look at your star from beneath.
And above.
Feel the gravity of your star pulling you towards it.
Feel that pull throughout the body and imagine that.
What no longer serves you.
What may have been helping you by holding you back.
Distractions.
Likes and dislikes just pulling it out like it's Milking you like it is pulling SAP from you.
These lines,
Veins of honey being drawn from within you towards that star.
And as the star sucks them in,
It burns them and transforms them.
You can't pollute the star.
You're not going to hurt it,
Either,
By simply giving up.
Controlling all of these.
Little things,
Just little things.
Let them be pulled towards your center.
And transmuted,
Transformed.
Visualize letting it take your outline,
Your body,
If you're brave enough.
It won't hurt you,
Just watch.
From the position you were in as the body.
Moves in front of your field of vision.
And then goes into the star to merge with it.
And as you decide.
Take your awareness to the center of the star.
Feel its light,
Your light,
All around you.
Both pulling in.
And pushing out.
Folding in on itself and unfolding from itself.
Look out at the vastness of you from this center standpoint.
The view from the center of you.
And let go of the need to figure it all out,
To fix it,
To do it.
Let go of everything except just being.
And give yourself permission to be.
And if you need to give yourself loving words of encouragement.
Perfectly okay at any point that you need to do so.
Now.
Bring to mind your son Culpa.
Thing you aim for.
This phrase of personal resolve.
And as you say it to yourself.
Deep in the mindscape,
In the center of you.
Shining from within.
Say your Sankalpa.
Deep in the heart of the star.
And let it be transformed.
And sent out in every direction.
On the light of your star.
And say it to yourself.
In the heart of your star.
However many times feels right.
And add just a dash of forgiveness in there too.
Self-forgiveness.
Tell yourself you're going to be fine.
Whatever words of reassurance you need.
In however many voices you need to hear it in.
And since your son,
Culpo,
Was given to the transformative fires of the star at the very center of you,
It is now a part of the star and shining out.
You can give your conscious mind permission to relax because it doesn't need to worry or track or fix or manage.
All that's required is you just be.
And then take your awareness back to your breath and the sensation at your nostrils.
Cooler air coming in.
Warmer air going back out.
Cooler fresh air coming in.
And going right back out.
Follow your breath back into your body.
Back into your body.
All the way back.
Into your physical body.
Right here and right now.
Draw into yourself whatever you need for a complete practice.
Hari Om Tat Sat.
