Hello and welcome.
This is Robert Cabeca and I am going to guide you through a letting go meditation.
So go ahead and get yourself comfortable.
You can either sit down in a comfortable position or lay down so you can fully relax.
Go ahead now and just take a few relaxed breaths from your lower abdomen area.
And upon each exhale,
Feel yourself creating a deeper connection to your inner self and to your environment surrounding you.
Do not fight any external noises or try to ignore them.
Just invite them in as part of your experience.
Also,
It's best to try and not fight your thoughts or try to resist them.
Welcome them and let them be just as they are for now.
Acknowledge them and thank them for being part of your meditation experience.
So just allow yourself to be completely comfortable with everything just the way it is right now.
Take a long slow breath and find yourself a bit more centered,
A bit more relaxed,
A bit more aware.
You might even just feel your body getting a little bit heavier as it relaxes and you settle in to the meditation.
Now imagine a luminescent sparkling lavender light just an inch or two somewhere above you.
This light is covering the entire area where you are,
Just above you.
You notice that this light is endless in every direction and it is about an inch or two in thickness.
This light is the gateway to complete peace and centeredness,
Complete quiet,
Complete awareness.
You notice this light is full of energy and this energy is pure love.
Just gently and slowly raise your hands and place them through this lavender light and feel its warm tingling energy.
Feel the energy coming over your hands.
Feel how it gently tingles and warms your hands.
Feel how this loving energy completely passes through your hands.
Bring your hands back down and feel this loving energy start to spread up your hands,
Into your arms,
Relaxing your arms and filling them with this energized lavender light of love.
Let this light spread to your shoulders and up your neck and around your head.
This energy is spreading down your back and through your chest,
Completely covering your entire torso.
This light is unstoppable and gently drifts down through your hips and down your legs,
All the way to your feet and up through your toes.
You are now completely enveloped in this loving,
Healing,
Energized lavender light.
Your body feels very relaxed and warm and cozy and you feel the heaviness of your body and the lightness of your spirit and your mind is very aware.
Just relax and breathe gently without trying to control your breath.
Just let go of your need to control your breath.
Just let go of all the muscles you might be trying to control.
You can trust that your body instinctively knows just what to do.
So let's just go ahead and let it.
Just relax and let go.
Become aware of any thoughts that are joining your meditation.
Your thoughts want to be part of this wonderful,
Peaceful experience.
Let's create a pathway for them into the lavender light.
Any pathway is fine through any part of your body,
Maybe through multiple parts of your body.
And just let your thoughts rise up into this light and as they enter into the light,
Just let them dissolve into it.
This light does not reject anything.
It welcomes all thoughts you give it and releases you from their power over you.
If you have any kind of stress or fears,
Simply create another pathway for them up into the light.
Just let them go up into the light.
See them passing into the lavender light and disappearing through it.
As each thought and each fear passes through the light,
You feel lighter and lighter.
Your body feels more connected to where you are.
Your body feels more nimble and more flexible and more responsive.
What thoughts are coming up for you now?
Whatever they are,
Thank them and acknowledge them and send them up into the lavender light.
Become aware that you are separate from your thoughts and you can actually control the direction they are going right up into this lavender light.
This path is effortless and easy.
It actually becomes fun to create these pathways for your thoughts to go up into the light.
Just let them all go.
Just let them all go.
Now think about what you think frustrates you the most.
Thank it.
Welcome it into this meditation.
Create a pathway for it up into the lavender light and let it float up into the light,
Disappearing just beyond the light.
Remember that all our thoughts effortlessly pass up into this special lavender light.
Letting go of one thought is just as easy as letting go of another.
All of our thoughts have a purpose,
Even if that purpose is for us to practice letting them go.
It doesn't matter what the frustration is.
Just let it go.
In this moment it has no power over you and the lavender light is taking it all up away from you and healing it effortlessly.
Now think about what you think makes you feel inadequate.
It doesn't matter what it is.
Just simply become aware that it is just a thought about a judgment you have determined.
That's all.
You know differently now.
You can welcome it into this meditation and create a pathway for it up into the light.
You've now become quite expert at doing this as if it's second nature to you.
Just being able to let go and let these thoughts float up into and through this lavender light.
If you experience any pain or discomfort in your body,
Where is it located?
Recognize that it's connected to your thoughts.
So let's go ahead and create a pathway directly from that area of discomfort up into the lavender light,
Thanking it as you let it go.
You quickly and distinctly feel this discomfort leaving your body and letting the lavender light wash over you.
Now let's just relax here in peace.
You are safe.
You feel this peace all through your body.
You enjoy all the sensations of your body.
You realize that your body loves you as much as you love it.
You realize you cannot have one without the other.
You realize that your body relentlessly,
Persistently does everything it can to keep you safe and healthy and to automatically naturally heal all of its wounds and strengthens all of its muscles and systems.
You realize that the only thing your body wants for you is your survival.
It also wants to give you everything you need to do,
Everything you want to do effortlessly.
Your body is on your side because your body knows you are on its side and that from now on you will do everything you can to nourish and enrich your body so your body can continue to be here for you.
Let go.
Just let go.
Let go of any concerns you may have had about taking care of your body.
Those are all old thoughts and fears.
Just send them on their path up into the lavender light.
Remember that you are now in charge of your thoughts.
You easily and effortlessly are able to recognize them as useful or not and send them away when not needed.
You are in charge and can let go of any thought at any time.
Letting go is an art just like a dance and you have already learned the dance steps.
You have learned the flow of movements and you have learned to create a pathway and send your thoughts peacefully through it.
Remember that every action has a response and the response that you consistently receive from letting go is love and peace and serenity,
A heart filled with joy and a spirit charged with love.
Now let's sit in quiet for a few minutes,
Remembering what to do with your thoughts as they enter this meditation,
Welcoming them and thanking them and creating a pathway into the lavender light for them to permanently dissolve.
We are now going to begin to come up from our meditation.
Just gently sense your body and the position you are in.
Just sense your surroundings.
You can wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes,
Just keeping your eyelids closed.
Roll your eyes around just a bit.
Take a couple deep breaths and start to blink your eyes open several times until you get accustomed to the light.
Good,
Good,
Good.
Remember that you can take this practice with you anywhere,
Anytime.
Open your eyes and welcome yourself to thoroughly enjoy the rest of your day.
