Welcome,
This is a meditation to support loving-kindness for your body,
Finding a comfortable place to sit,
Resting your palms facing down on your knees,
Allowing the top of your head to expand up towards the stars,
Gently closing your eyes,
Softening the space between your eyes,
Allowing your ears to move downwards and your shoulders to release ever so slightly,
Bringing your awareness to the inhale and exhale of the breath,
And then down into the belly,
Allowing this space to soften,
To release,
And to let go.
So often we carry so much in this area,
After years of sucking in,
It can feel unfamiliar to release,
So be gentle with yourself as you let go,
Noticing any sensations in the body and just meeting them without any judgment,
Remaining curious and compassionate towards anything you uncover in the body,
Bringing your awareness to the heart center,
And taking a moment to find gratitude for something that your body has done today,
Perhaps it's for your breath,
Or the protection your skin provided,
Your heart for beating all day,
Your eyes for bringing you a full,
Immersive experience in life,
Perhaps your ears heard some beautiful music,
Or your hands were lucky enough to touch somebody that you love,
Noticing something that you are grateful for,
And imagining the heart radiating a soft,
Pulsing yellow,
And finding one more thing that you are grateful for,
Maybe it's your hair,
Or your strong spine,
Your cute lips,
Or your thighs,
And as you breathe in this gratitude,
Imagining that bright yellow light swelling,
And growing and expanding within,
And coming back to gratitude again,
What can you appreciate about this body of yours,
And as you inhale again,
Allowing that warm yellow light to move through every cell of the body,
Allowing that light to extend through the top of your head,
Down through the sacrum,
Into each leg,
Extending out through the toes,
Feel this beautiful energy and life force moving through you,
Maybe you even notice your lips spread into a smile,
Feel how incredible it is to be in this expansive,
Free space,
Taking up as much room in the world as you desire,
Allowing your beautiful,
Positive energy to spill out into the world around you,
As you inhale,
Repeating,
Thank you body,
I love you body,
I am safe,
And noticing this feeling,
And bringing it with you,
As you ever so slightly come back to the present moment,
Rolling your shoulders,
Allowing your spine to sway,
And when you're ready,
Allowing your eyes to open,
With a blink,
Blink,
Blink,
Well done,
I hope you have a beautiful day.
