Find a place where you can be as undisturbed as possible for a few moments.

You may find that your mind is really active,

So drop your attention down and into your body.

Locate your breath.

Notice the sides and the back of your head.

Notice any sensations in your chest,

Your shoulders,

Your neck.

See if you can sense the rate of your heartbeat.

Feel your fingertips.

Bring your attention into your hips,

Your legs,

Your feet.

Maybe they're asking for some movement if you've been sitting a while,

So go ahead and give a little wiggle,

A stretch,

Maybe a shake.

Take another breath.

Notice these sensations in your body.

Check in and ask what your body needs.

Maybe a sip of water,

Maybe a quick snack,

Or some fresh air.

Bring your attention back to the cadence and sensation of your breath.

Remember that you are so loved and you are so much better for yourself and the people around you when you take care of your own needs.
