How can we use the power of our imagination to create a new past.
And a new present reality.
Thank you for being here and today I am going to explain the lesson of revision.
That our dear Neville Goddard gave us.
I studied him and his books and he spoke highly of a practice called the art of revision.
And we can do this just before we go to bed.
So the most powerful time of day is actually when we are going to bed because we are in a lower brain wave frequency.
Called theta.
And theta state is where we are most vulnerable.
Programmable and impressionable.
So we can use the power revision at this most important time of our day.
And the way we do this is we close our eyes and we go through.
Our whole day.
And if there's an area of our day that we didn't feel went in the way that we really wanted.
Perhaps we had a conflict with someone.
Maybe there was something that didn't go in the way that we really wanted to see happen.
We can now use the power of our imagination by revising that actual situation.
Situation or issue that happened.
So we go through our day from morning till evening and we can rewrite our whole day and then take that new story that we've rewritten and revised and bring that into our subconscious mind as we drift off into sleep.
Feeling better,
Feeling more at peace,
And creating a harmonious script now.
That can actually play out perhaps in a day to come.
And that's the power of revision.
Our memories are a gift.
Record of the past,
But they're not set in stone.
We can actually change them by remembering them and revising them in a different way.
So I suggest that this evening,
Before you go to bed.
You take a moment to perhaps journal your day.
Get pen to paper.
That always is a beautiful practice to solidify your thoughts and your experiences and your feelings.
And then notice Hmm,
That didn't go so well.
That's not what I really ideally wanted.
What is it that I prefer to have happen?
In this area of my day.
Then,
Put your journal aside,
Close your eyes,
And go through your day and imagine with the power of your heart.
Imagination.
Your mind's eye.
That scene.
In the way that you want it to see happen.
So maybe that argument.
Turns into a beautiful coming together and repairing of a friendship.
Perhaps that pain that you felt in your shoulder,
You revise that incident or that time of discomfort and you envision it as that shoulder being beautifully mobile,
Healed and whole.
You can do this with anything physical,
Mental,
Or emotional.
That you didn't feel went the best way in the day.
And now you get to rewrite,
Revision a new reality,
A new script.
I hope that this has helped you in some way and please do join me again.
Thank you.
