Allow yourself these few minutes to slow your breathing and settle into calm.
So take a moment to pause and arrive in this space.
Lower your gaze and allow your shoulders to soften.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and gently breathe out through your mouth.
Again breathe in and breathe out.
Let this simple breath mark a small reset in your day.
Nothing to solve,
Nothing to plan,
Nothing to do.
Just this moment.
Now bring your attention to your feet and notice the gentle connection with the ground beneath you.
Allow your jaw to soften,
Your shoulders to relax a little further,
And your hands to rest easily by your side.
Take a long breath in and a slow breath out.
Keeping your focus on the breath,
Notice the inhale and the exhale.
Allow the inhale to gently expand your chest or belly.
And with the exhale,
Let your body soften again.
If thoughts about work or your day appear,
That's okay.
Simply notice and gently bring your attention back to the breath.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Take one slightly deeper breath in and slowly breathe out,
Releasing any tension.
One more calm breath in and out.
Now begin to notice the space around you,
The sounds nearby,
The light,
The feeling of being here.
And when you're ready,
Return to your day a little calmer,
A little clearer,
