Hello and welcome.
My name is Paige Lee.
And today,
I'd like to take 10 deep breaths together.
When we breathe deep,
We create the opportunity for regulation,
Groundedness,
Clarity,
Settling to take place in our body in moments of chaos and stress.
When we're feeling frantic,
And uncertain.
The breath is a powerful resource,
A built-in superpower that we can come back to at any moment throughout our days.
So start by finding a comfortable position wherever you are.
Take any shifts or wiggles necessary to fully arrive.
And settle in.
Let's take an inhale here simply to prepare.
And then open mouth exhale,
Dump that one out.
Take a big breath in to fill the lungs with fresh air.
And then exhale nice and slow.
Another big breath in.
Fill the box.
Then exhale nice and easy,
Lengthening the exhales.
Another big inhalation through the nose to fill and expand.
And then a slow and easy exhale all the way out.
Inhale to fill and expand.
Then exhale to soften and release.
Four.
Another big breath in.
Providing fresh energy.
And then exhale,
Soften and settle a little bit heavier right where you are.
And a big breath in through the nose,
Pulling all fresh energy into the body.
And extending the exhale so that it's longer than the inhale.
6.
Inhale to fill,
Expand,
And broaden through the front body.
And then exhale to soften as you empty the breath completely.
Seven.
And how to fill.
And exhale to release.
AIDS.
Another big breath in to expand.
Balloon through the belly.
And as you exhale,
Gently release bit by bit.
Nein.
Another big round of breath.
Biggest yet.
Filling the lungs.
And nice and slow,
Gently release that breath from the body,
Lengthening the exhale.
Allow the breath to return to its natural state here,
Releasing the formality with the breath.
Taking note here for what may have shifted over the past few minutes.
Between when we first clicked play on this recording and finishing the 10 rounds.
Very deep,
Slow,
Intentional breaths.
Anchor into this feeling and this moment and allow it to carry you through the rest of your day.
Thank you for breathing with me today.
I'll see you next time.
