Hello,

My name is Aaron Montgomery and I'm the author of the Business Foundation book,

The Fundamentals of Business Success.

I want to welcome you into this meditation designed to empower you.

My hope for you is that once you leave this meditation,

You will be renewed and empowered to believe you can achieve whatever you put your mind to achieving.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down.

Close your eyes gently,

And if you need to leave your eyes open,

Just let them rest heavy and focus into the sound of my voice.

Now I invite you to relax and let's take a deep breath in and then a deep breath out.

Take that deep breath from your diaphragm at the top of your belly,

Filling the diaphragm with your in-breath and then taking a long exhale to make sure you squeeze all of the air out of your diaphragm before returning to the in-breath.

With each breath,

Feel yourself relaxing more deeply.

Go ahead and take two more deep breaths on your own.

As you continue to breathe slowly and deeply,

Letting your mind and body relax,

Let go of any tension you're holding.

With each exhale,

Release any stress or worries from the day.

Anything that might have shown up today or anything you're holding on to from the week so far,

By letting go,

You're not surrendering,

But rather taking control.

You will have the power to face the challenges when you're ready,

So just let it all go.

From this state of relaxation and control,

Take a moment to fully visualize an area where you feel disempowered.

Perhaps it's a situation where you found yourself blaming something outside of your control.

Maybe you find yourself complaining about how it feels unfair.

What circumstance,

If you look back honestly on it,

You know you are making an excuse or trying to justify your inaction.

As you visualize this situation,

Just notice the feelings that arise.

Observe the feelings without judgment.

In fact,

Welcome them in and just sit with them for a moment.

And as you fully recognize the feelings,

You can let them go without judgment as well.

As you are experiencing the areas where you might feel that you don't control your own success,

Very gently acknowledge any fears or limiting beliefs that may be present.

Perhaps a fear of failure,

Or a belief that circumstances are beyond your control.

An imaginary belief that you are not good enough.

It's okay to recognize these feelings.

They are all part of what makes you the amazing person that you are.

But by recognizing them,

We also have the opportunity to challenge them.

We can review those feelings to realize they might not be as valid as they feel.

Once we go deep and question why,

And once you ask the why deeply and challenge the validity,

We can change the feeling to one of empowerment.

I'm going to now ask you to repeat after me,

Either out loud or in your mind.

I am capable of overcoming challenges.

I have the power to create positive outcomes.

I would now like to ask you to shift your mind's eye.

Imagine yourself taking complete responsibility for your actions and all of your decisions.

Imagine that any event or experience that happens to you outside of your control,

You actually have a very powerful tool to control the outcome.

It is your action between the experience and your potential success that is that powerful tool.

You have the power to choose your response,

And therefore you have complete control over the equation.

Feel the empowerment and control you have in this situation.

Notice how different this feels,

The sense of strength and clarity.

Take a moment to really feel this.

As you feel this empowerment,

Let us embrace some additional affirmations either out loud or in your mind.

I am fully responsible for my success.

My actions lead to meaningful and positive outcomes.

I embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.

You can repeat those affirmations as often as you need,

And just keep them handy.

I am fully responsible for my success.

My actions lead to meaningful and positive outcomes.

I embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.

With your new superpower,

It's time to shift our visualization towards achieving a significant goal as a result of your empowered actions.

The response that you have to the experience or event out of your control is that superpower that carries you to achieving your goal.

Feel the joy,

Satisfaction,

And pride of this achievement.

Let this feeling fill you up,

Energizing every part of your body.

Feel your body being filled with that joy and satisfaction.

The empowerment is beautiful,

Bright white energy filling your toes into your feet.

It's rising up your ankles and into your legs,

Filling up past your knees into your thighs and on up through your hips.

That joy and satisfaction,

That bright white energy is filling you up and it continues to just fill you up as it rises into your belly and on up through your chest.

It radiates out to your arms,

All the way out to the tips of your fingers.

It ripples back and begins to fill your neck,

All the way up to the top of your head.

Just open,

Bright,

Joy,

Satisfaction.

Bring these feelings of empowerment and positivity into your awareness and just let them fill your entire body.

You are the architect of your journey,

Building it with intention and purpose.

Now take a deep breath in and then another deep breath out.

As you take these deep breaths,

Just get back to that state of really nice,

Deep diaphragm breaths.

Deep breath in and out.

I want you to begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment.

When you're ready,

Gently open up your eyes,

Carrying this sense of empowerment with you into your daily activities,

Remembering that you have the power to create every outcome and are empowered to have all the success you desire through the superpower of your response to the event.

That experience can only define you based on your actions.

Remember,

Every day you grow stronger in your ability to shape your success through practice and intentionality.

Recognize your abilities to shape your outcomes.

You are empowered,

Capable,

And ready to face any challenge with confidence and grace.

I appreciate you taking this time with me to empower yourself.

You inspire me to continue to cultivate an uncommon mindset.

My hope for you is that you know you have all the tools you need inside of you to maximize your fulfillment and achieve your goals.
