Welcome.
In this practice,
We're going to do an interactive process.
That you could consider to be Yoga of the mind.
Or yoga of the spirit.
And why do I say that?
When we practice physical yoga,
Sometimes called asana.
Stretches postures.
We are pushing our physical body into its limits and we are breathing into the tension.
The obstruction.
So today's practice.
.
.
I want you to keep that in mind.
Our aim is to push ourselves to our mental obstructions,
Our mental barriers,
And to breathe into those barriers.
With the objective of becoming more flexible.
So sit up straight.
Sit up comfortably.
Be relaxed,
You don't have to be strictly meditating right now.
And relax the shoulders because the shoulders are always tight And the first thing we'll do is we'll close our eyes.
And surrender yourself to the present moment.
That means that in whatever form the present moment is taking you're okay with it.
Take note of.
Any Avoidance.
Of being here.
Take note of any desire.
To get away.
From this moment.
They'll always be.
Some part of us.
That doesn't want to be here in the now.
Try to find that part within yourself.
And breathe into it.
You can say in your mind.
I accept.
This present moment.
Exactly as it is.
The first thing I'd like you to do Identify blockages.
Your eyes are still closed.
I'm going to read to you.
For Sentences and what you have to be very perceptive of is when there is resistance.
I will read these sentences.
Notice when you feel resistance,
Okay?
I feel safe.
Say that to yourself.
I feel safe.
Is there any resistance within you?
On some level.
Do you not believe that affirmation?
Take note.
The next affirmation.
I am enough.
I am enough.
Do you feel any resistance?
With your eyes closed.
I am enough.
Can you feel a blockage?
If so,
You've identified it.
Great.
3rd Affirmation I'm lovable.
I'm lovable.
Any resistance?
Any blockage I'm lovable.
Take note.
Fourth Affirmation.
I can be myself.
I can be myself.
Did that digest easily or is there a blockage?
I can be myself.
Okay well done.
You will have identified.
Between one or four blockages.
Some of us have all four sentences as blockages and that's absolutely fine I'd like you to pick one of the blockages that felt most dense,
Most prominent.
I will read the sentences.
Find the sentence which is a biggest obstruction.
Choose one.
I feel safe.
I'm enough.
I'm lovable.
I can be myself.
Choose one of those which feels the biggest,
Densest blockage.
I feel safe.
I'm enough.
I can be myself.
I'm lovable.
Have you identified your biggest blockage?
Well done,
You're being very brave.
I'm here with you.
Close your eyes and connect with that blockage.
Where is this blockage?
In your body.
What does it feel like?
How big is it?
You're doing very well this will be quite difficult so breathe slowly.
Into that blockage.
Any distress or difficult emotions are normal and natural when we are working on our blockages.
If this blockage had a shape.
.
.
What would it be?
Would it be circular?
Square.
Cloudy.
Triangular.
Anything is valid.
Well done for breathing into this blockage.
Now,
I'd like you to fully.
.
.
Fully surrender to this.
This is very critical and important if you want positive change.
You say to yourself.
.
.
I surrender to this feeling.
And I ask for support.
I surrender to this feeling.
And I ask for support.
You're calling upon change.
God.
The universe.
The Cosmos.
I surrender to this feeling.
And I call upon support.
The final step.
Surrendered yourself to this blockage.
You've identified this blockage.
You're still there with it.
The final step is let's envision,
Let's mentally rehearse.
A positive change.
What is your blockage?
Remember,
Just to recap,
I feel safe.
I am enough.
I'm lovable.
I can be myself.
Which one of those was your biggest blockage?
Now envision yourself Feeling safe.
What would it feel like to feel safe?
Or if your blockage was regarding feeling enough.
What would it feel like to be enough?
How does it feel to be enough?
If your blockage was,
I'm lovable.
How does it feel to be lovable?
Cultivate.
Be creative.
Go within and create a positive image.
You're safe.
You're enough.
You're lovable.
How does it feel to be yourself?
You can be yourself.
How would that feel?
Well done what we've done there is we have Pushed ourselves.
To our mental,
Emotional,
Spiritual limits.
We've discovered where our limitations are,
Our obstructions,
Just like when we do yoga.
Just like when we do downward facing dog and dog.
Different yogic postures.
We've identified the limit.
We've breathed into it.
We've called upon support.
A higher power perhaps.
Depending on your belief system.
And we have envisioned and mentally rehearsed what it feels like.
To not have that blockage.
Come back to this practice if you feel like you want to do it again.
I strongly recommend you do that because it very,
Very much facilitates and helps your freedom from the blockages.
Blockages are dense.
Pieces of data and it requires a little bit of work to massage it out.
So I hope you enjoyed this.
