Take a moment to make sure that you're really comfortable,
Maybe there's some last wiggles or movements.
Make sure that you're warm,
That you have everything that you need for your restful evening meditation and grounding as you lay here on the floor flat.
You can already begin to notice the earth underneath you.
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale out of your mouth you drop your weight into the earth even more.
Let's do it again.
Take another deep breath in,
Fill your lungs,
Expand your body and then when you exhale allow the day to wash away from you.
Take a few gentle,
Slow breaths in your very own rhythm and allow every exhalation to be a contribution of letting go of the energy of the day-to-day.
So anything that doesn't belong to you can go as you prepare your body and your mind for deep,
Deep rest.
Bring your awareness into the lower belly and allow any tension that might have accumulated there throughout the day-to-day to soften and to leave your system so that you can take a few deep breaths here as I'll count the breath with a rhythm of four.
Finish your exhalation and then we're breathing in for two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale two,
Three,
Four.
Into the lower belly two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale let the energy of the day go two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale two,
Three,
Four.
Two more rounds.
Please count for yourself in your mind.
And from here allow your body to take over.
Breathing naturally,
Calmly.
Relax the small muscles around your eyes so your eyeballs can begin to sink heavy towards the back of your skull.
Your jaw unclenches and the point between your eyebrow becomes soft and open.
All your muscles deserve to melt into the earth like honey.
Your organs they deserve to relax now and even your bones can begin to rest deeply.
Your entire body is sinking into the earth as if you're sinking into warm,
Soft sand.
And as you rest here in this warm embrace of the earth,
How about setting an intention?
Any area of your life right now where you feel you would like to add a little support and then you formulate that intention in present tense as if it was already true.
An example could be I am deeply rested or I accept myself exactly as I am.
And then repeat your intention to yourself three times in your mind.
And then finally imagine with your entire body how this reality of your intention would feel in every single cell of your body.
How would that feel?
Take a moment to allow this reality to wash over you.
And then everything knowingly or unknowingly that is in the way of you resting in this ultimate truth will leave your body now with every exhalation.
You don't need to do anything for it.
Trust that every exhalation will support you in letting go that which is in the way of resting in your truth.
And you can even hand over that what you're letting go to the earth underneath you as she is carrying you and holding you.
And as you keep letting go and creating space with every exhalation,
How about using your inhalation to receive from the earth what it is that you need right now?
Any nourishing,
Calming or supportive qualities that the earth is offering you.
Imagine how with every inhalation it begins to slowly fill you up.
Exhale,
Let go of the old.
Inhale,
Bring in the new.
Keep going few more rounds.
Whenever you're ready,
Let this technique fade away just for another few moments.
Rest and stillness.
Nothing to do as the earth is holding you exactly as you are.
Maybe you choose to stay here and rest a little longer or maybe you slowly end the practice in any way that feels nice to you right now.
And then from there make your way to a restful night.
Thank you.
