Welcome,
Darling.
Take a moment to arrive.
You do not need to become anyone else right now.
You do not need to have all the answers.
You do not need to fix the whole story today.
You are exactly where you're meant to be.
This moment is enough and so are you.
So find a comfortable position.
Allow your body to settle into the surface beneath you.
If it feels safe,
Close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Take a slow inhale in through the nose and a gentle exhale out through the mouth.
Again,
Breathing in deeply and letting it go.
Just allow your breath to return to its own natural rhythm.
Your breath has been supporting you all day without needing applause.
Let yourself be supported.
Notice the rise and the fall of the belly,
Bringing awareness to your heart space.
Notice any sensation there,
Warmth,
Tightness,
Maybe openness.
There is no wrong answer.
Self-awareness begins when we notice what is here without rushing to change it.
Now scan your body gently.
Notice the forehead,
Can it soften?
The jaw,
Can it unclench?
The shoulders,
Maybe they can drop just a little.
The hands,
They can release what they've been carrying.
They can soften enough to receive breath.
Can they feel supported?
Can they remember the ground?
Notice what emotions may be present.
You don't need to name them perfectly,
Just sense what is moving inside you.
Maybe it's stress,
Sadness,
Gratitude,
Fatigue,
Maybe several things at once.
You are human enough to hold complexity.
Take a slow breath in and exhale softly.
Now notice the mind,
What thoughts keep circling,
What story has been replaying,
What worry wants your attention.
Do not judge the thoughts,
Just notice them like clouds passing through a wide sky.
Some thoughts are old habits,
Some are fear dressed as facts.
Some are wisdom asking to be heard.
Self-awareness is learning the difference.
What happens when certain thoughts arise in the body?
Does your chest tighten?
Your belly clench?
Shoulders rise?
But what would happen if we offer ourselves a kinder thought?
Perhaps silently saying,
I am safe in this moment.
I do not need to believe every thought I think.
I want you to take that in.
Take it in with a deep breath.
Slow with a gentle exhale out.
Notice if there are patterns.
Do you over-give and under-receive?
Do you silence yourself?
Where do you betray your own needs for approval?
No shame,
Darling.
Awareness is not punishment.
Awareness is freedom-knocking.
Every pattern once tried to protect you.
You can thank it now and let it know you are learning new ways.
Bring one hand to your belly if that feels good.
And one hand to your heart.
And a breath beneath your hands.
Resting in this stillness and breath.
Just awareness.
Just this breath.
Just this moment.
Notice how it feels to meet yourself with tenderness instead of criticism.
Awareness is the beginning of change.
This is how healing often begins.
Not with dramatic breakthroughs but with honest presence.
So take one breath.
Speak as you can in.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Roll your shoulders around if you'd like.
Bringing awareness back into the body and into your space.
Carry this awareness with you today.
Thank you for joining me.
