This is a meditation that's going to help you to unravel the threads of the past.
Freeing yourself from past emotions and attachment.
So making yourself comfortable wherever you are.
It can be either sitting or laying down.
Making sure you feel supported and warm.
Making any final adjustments to be completely comfortable.
We're just going to start by taking a few mindful breaths.
Breathing all the way in.
Filling your lungs up.
And on the out-breath,
Let go of any cares and worries.
And do that a few times.
Giving yourself permission to be here.
There's nothing that needs done.
Nowhere to go right now.
Apart from being here.
Allowing the body to feel relaxed.
Perhaps relaxing the forehead.
The cheeks.
Moving down to the jaw.
And allowing the entire face to feel completely relaxed.
And just notice how your shoulders feel right now.
If there's any tension there,
Just take a breath.
And on the exhale,
Just allow yourself to sink a bit deeper into the chair or the floor.
Softening the muscles down your back.
Allowing the entire body to completely melt down and soften.
Relaxed and peaceful and calm.
Just breathing in forgiveness for past choices and actions.
Inhaling compassion and inviting in peace.
Allow yourself to feel completely surrounded in peace.
And as you're relaxing,
Just bringing your attention forward and wide open.
Almost like you're looking out at a vast horizon.
You're just allowing your attention to gently drift open.
As wide as it naturally wants to go.
A forward and wide open gaze.
And just allow yourself to rest there for a moment.
And let this moment be enough just as it is.
As you're resting there with a forward and wide open gaze.
Now moving your focus to the soles of your feet.
Gently think the words,
I lovingly release the threads of the past.
And let go of the words and the focus point.
Allowing yourself to rest there in that wide open space.
Allowing the breath to be natural,
No straining,
No effort.
It's all about being gentle.
Now allow your focus to drift to your solar plexus.
And gently think the words,
I embrace the lessons I've learnt.
And let the words and the focus point just melt away.
Resting there in that wide open space.
Embracing the wisdom and growth from your past experiences.
Now moving your focus to your heart centre.
Gently think the words,
My past no longer defines me.
And know those words to be true.
And let go of the words and the focus point.
Resting back there in that wide open space.
Allow yourself to be gently alert with your awareness wide open.
Inhaling compassion,
Inviting in a beautiful warm peace.
Feeling calm and content.
Now moving your focus to your throat.
Gently think the words,
I am free to move forward with grace and ease.
Allow the words and the focus point to gently drift away.
Resting back in that wide open space.
Gently alert,
Wide and open.
Now moving your focus to the top of your head.
Gently repeat the words,
I am creating a well of love and inner peace now.
Let go of the words and the focus point.
Resting there with a forward and wide open gaze.
Just allowing this moment to be enough,
Just as it is.
Now moving your focus to the entire body.
Gently think and repeat the words,
I am supported by the universe in my journey of healing.
And really know that to be true.
Feel that through every cell in your body.
Allow yourself to bathe in the support by the universe in your journey of healing.
Just allow yourself to just bathe there for a few moments.
Knowing that you are being held by the universe.
In all of your journey.
Feeling safe and secure.
And as we bring this meditation to a close,
I invite you to take a few breaths.
Breathing in peace.
And on the out breath,
Calm.
And know that you have done some powerful healing work today.

Taking another deep breath in.
And on the exhale,
Bring yourself back to the room by being wide awake and aware.
