Transcript

Imagine you are seated underneath a tree.

Your back is against a strong,

Sturdy trunk.

It's tall.

The branches and leaves provide you a shady canopy.

There's grass all around you,

And a light breeze.

You sit for a moment,

Feeling your sit bones on the earth and your back against this sturdy tree.

You begin to notice that there's a lake,

Or a large body of water off in the distance.

You begin to step towards it.

Feeling the earth and grass beneath you,

Basking in the sunlight and the warmth.

And as you make your way to this body of water,

It's crystal clear.

You can see the sand at the bottom,

And you decide to sit next to this welcoming,

Inviting body of water.

As the wind picks up,

It lightly blows over the water,

And you hear love and kindness reach your ears.

Words that hold you.

Words that affirm you.

Words that touch the softest parts of your heart,

Of your being.

Maybe these words are.

.

.

You are love.

You are worthy.

You are doing great.

You are exactly where you need to be.

You are whole,

Exactly as you are.

You are a beautiful soul.

As you sit near this body of water,

You take in these loving,

Loving,

Loving words.

And maybe you're invited to step into the water.

Maybe you gently wade in,

And fully immerse yourself in this love and compassion and kindness that has been yours from the beginning.

Or maybe you just sit.

Maybe you stick your feet in.

Whatever feels right for you in this moment.

And that is perfect.

And whatever position you've taken near or in this loving,

Kind body of water.

You invited to move through all of the hardened places.

The soft spaces.

The tucked away spaces.

Inviting the opportunity for ease and relaxation with these words.

That you are enough.

That you are love.

You are worthy of kindness.

You are worthy of good things happening in your life.

And as you bathe in these waters,

You notice that someone you know is also walking up and wading into the water.

They offer you a friendly smile.

You get to decide who that person is.

Maybe it's a friend.

Family.

A loved one.

Maybe it's a pet.

Whatever image comes to mind is perfectly acceptable.

And as that being sits in the water across from you.

.

You both begin to feel this love and kindness wash over you.

You feel connected in these loving words.

In these affirming words.

And you just sit with this other being.

Feeling your own joy.

And now feeling theirs as well.

And their love.

And their peace.

You begin to feel this love radiating out beyond you and this other being.

And you notice that there are more people.

People that are starting to also enter this expansive body of water.

It's so large.

It can contain seemingly infinite number of beings.

And you see them start to enter the pool with you and your loved one.

People of different races.

People that look similar to you.

People that look different.

Maybe animals join as well.

Until there are so many people that it feels as though the entirety of the earth is with you.

Receiving compassionate,

Kind,

Loving,

Peaceful energy.

Everyone deserves love.

Everyone deserves peace.

Everyone deserves safety.

And as you sit in or near this body of water,

The joy,

The pure love that exists in this universe,

In this earth,

Becomes one in this moment with all these other beings.

And suddenly there's only light and love.

And you radiate and embody and bask in this wholeness,

This radiant,

Otherworldly,

Compassionate,

Loving energy.

Knowing that this is your truth.

This is our essence.

As you acknowledge all of these other beings,

You gently begin to move away from the body of water.

You nod goodbye and thank them for everything.

In this loving state,

You gently walk back to your tree.

You sit on the ground with your back against its sturdy trunk.

You take a deep inhale and an exaggerated sigh out of your mouth.

You do this one more time,

Bringing yourself back to the room where you're currently in or wherever you are.

You allow yourself to hear the noises.

You feel your sit bones and feet on the earth.

You begin to wiggle fingers and toes.

And you can open your eyes if they are closed.
