Healing from within is a common concept in the modern world, it was also commonly discussed in the ancient world. Healing from within tends to bring up a lot of pseudoscience but doesn't have to, as healing from within can also be completely scientific as it can be based on evolutionary biology.

The idea of healing within has become a very common concept in the modern world.

It was actually also a concept within the ancient world and was very commonly discussed.

In modern times though,

Much of the healing from within comes in the realm of pseudoscience.

Ironically though,

It doesn't have to come in the realm of pseudoscience,

Because of the fact that we now have evolutionary biology.

Embracingly,

Evolutionary biology has taught us in great depth how we can heal the body within from a scientific point of view.

One may sometimes ask the question to oneself,

Why is it that we have to have our wisdom taken out,

Whereas before,

What did we do for the last 200,

000 years?

One may also ask the same question about wearing glasses,

Or the fact of why it is so common that we have flat feet.

The answers to these are completely related to evolutionary biology,

And are a very important insight into how we heal from within.

The reason why we have our wisdom teeth taken out is because our jaws are currently 10% smaller than what they used to be.

This is caused by the fact that as children,

We are eating food much softer than what we used to eat when we had to chew maybe 100 times more than what we used to do 100,

000 years ago,

Whereas our jaws were 10% larger,

Giving space for the wisdom teeth to grow out.

The human eyes were designed to look into the distance,

They were not designed to read small letters,

Or to look at iPhones,

Or to read books.

Therefore,

Short-sightedness has become a problem as well within the modern world.

Flat feet is also something that is commonly seen,

And has been brought about by wearing shoes.

In the past,

When humans either wore no shoes and were bare feet,

Or wore shoes that lacked much of the support that the current shoes have,

The muscles in the feet were built up and remained strong for one's life.

These things tell us therefore,

That we are currently in a situation where the human body that was designed by the universe,

Or God,

Or whoever you want to call it,

Was designed to live in a certain environment,

We could call it environment A.

Now though,

We are living in environment B.

It's like taking a Honda sedan and driving it through the rainforest or the sand dunes.

That Honda sedan was not designed to go off-road,

It was designed to be on very gentle roads.

The human body had been designed for a few hundred thousand years to be in an environment that we are currently far from,

Therefore there is a vast array of illnesses that are falling upon us.

These illnesses we can call the mismatched diseases.

Type 2 diabetes is another major problem in the modern world.

The human body was designed to crave sugar,

Because sugar was a high energy food.

The problem is,

Is finding sugar back in the day was something that was difficult,

And therefore we ate it rarely,

And it did what it was meant to do,

Which was give us an enormous amount of energy for a short period of time.

Now though,

When we can get sugar on every single shelf out there,

We are overdoing it,

And in the end are burning out our pancreas.

So healing within therefore comes by trying to live to the best of our ability in a way that the human body was designed to live in.

This of course takes some thought,

But at the end of the day is mainly common sense.

The real difficulty of this lies in one area,

And that is,

How do I live in a way where we were meant to live a hundred thousand years ago,

When the entire world that we live in is designed differently.

This of course means we can only do the best we can,

But we need to look at it in all aspects of life,

Such as sleeping with a harder mattress,

Such as making sure we look into the distance as much as possible,

Such as making sure we chew our food properly,

Such as reducing the lights at night,

Such as wearing bare feet in summer in areas that are safe to wear bare feet,

Such as using the body as much as possible,

Such as making sure we can sit cross-legged,

Squat down,

Touch our toes,

Such as making sure that the entire body remains flexible,

Such as making sure that we continuously exercise on a daily basis,

Such as making sure we don't eat too much sugar,

Too much fats,

And too many unnatural processed foods.

The list rarely goes on,

And one can take this as far as one chooses.

At the end of the day though,

Science tells us the way to heal from within is to live as closely as we can to the way that we were designed.

This should be as a reminder on billboards, on media ... I grew up squatting and now can’t believe people do squats as yoga pose and it’s not a yoga pose its how we get down on the floor ! Thanks for putting this out there .
