Settle into your seat or cushion.

Let your body sink into the shape that it naturally wants to take.

Bring one hand to your heart,

The other to your belly.

Feel your own warmth beneath your palms,

A quiet reminder of your inner light.

Take a slow breath in and a long,

Easy breath out.

Let the busyness of the holiday season begin to loosen around you.

There's nothing to manage here,

Nothing to prepare for.

Just breath moving through your body.

As your breath steadies,

Bring your awareness to the space just below your ribs.

Your solar plexus,

The center of your personal and inner fire.

Imagine a warm golden light glowing softly here,

The color of a rising sun.

The light is your personal power,

It's your purpose,

And it is your inner luminosity.

Even in winter,

Even in the darkest season,

This light is present in you.

This is your fire,

Your flame that never goes out.

With each inhale,

Feel this light within you brighten.

It's warm,

It's comforting,

It's steady.

With each exhale,

Allow this light to spread through your body like a gentle heat,

Softening tension,

Reassuring you from the inside out.

This glow is your reminder.

You are capable,

You are powerful,

You are steady.

Let your breath move through you like a rolling tide,

Inhale rising,

Exhale returning.

Let your breath reassure the parts of you that feel hurried,

Overwhelmed,

Hurt,

Full of grief,

Or stretched just too thin during the holidays.

Let this light whisper in your heart and in your body,

You're safe,

Now imagine this golden light,

Your inner fire,

Spreading through your whole body,

Through your chest,

Radiating down into your belly,

Shining into your hips,

Your legs,

Your feet.

Notice this radiant light moving through your shoulders now,

Healing,

Energizing,

Shining through your arms,

Your hands.

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Feel your arms and legs full of radiant,

Healing light.

The light moves up into your throat,

Your face,

Through your mind.

Inhale full body awareness.

Exhale full body relaxation,

Glowing from the inside out.

You become a soft,

Luminous presence.

Steady,

Grounded,

Glowing from the inside out.

Even in stillness,

You shine.

Even in winter,

You burn with a quiet fire.

Even in chaos,

You know how to return home.

Take a final slow breath in,

Belly,

Ribs,

Heart,

And one long,

Soothing breath out.

Let your whole body melt into ease.

Let your breath return to its natural rhythm now.

Steady,

Simple,

And supportive.

Rest in the warmth that you've created,

Knowing that you can return to this inner light at any time during this holiday season,
