Hello my friend,

Let's take some time to get comfortable.

Let your body feel heavy,

Supported and safe.

Today we're going to discover one of nature's quiet miracles.

Not a loud magic trick,

Not a flash in the sky,

But a slow,

Patient,

Powerful kind of magic.

Have you ever wondered how something tiny and wiggly,

Something that crawls along leaves,

Could one day float through the sky on painted wings?

On our journey today,

We won't just learn about it,

We will feel it.

We will shrink down small enough to sit beside a caterpillar.

We'll listen to the leaves whisper,

And we'll witness the incredible moment when change begins.

Because this isn't only the story of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly,

It's also a story about becoming.

Take a slow breath in through your nose,

And a long breath out through your mouth.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Let your imagine gently wake up as we begin our journey now.

Imagine you are lying in a soft green meadow.

The grass feels cool beneath you.

Above you,

The sky is wide and blue,

With clouds drifting slowly past.

You notice a tiny movement on a nearby leaf.

It's a small caterpillar.

Its body is round and soft,

Moving in gentle waves as it inches forward.

Step,

Stretch,

Tuck.

Step,

Stretch,

Tuck.

Caterpillars spend most of their time eating leaves.

Did you know they sometimes eat so much that they grow more than 100 times their original size?

Wow!

Isn't that amazing?

As you watch,

You notice how focused this little caterpillar is.

It doesn't rush.

It doesn't compare itself to anyone else.

It simply eats,

Rests and grows.

Take a breath in and imagine you are growing in your own quiet way too.

Caterpillars don't know they are going to become butterflies.

They just follow their instincts.

And one day,

Something inside them begins to change.

The caterpillar finds a safe place,

Perhaps underneath a leaf or on a strong branch.

It attaches itself gently and hangs upside down.

Now,

Something incredible happens.

It forms a chrysalis,

A protective shell around its body.

From the outside,

It looks still,

Quiet,

Almost like nothing is happening at all.

But inside,

Magic is unfolding.

Inside the chrysalis,

The caterpillar's body begins to transform.

Its old body gently dissolves and special cells begin building something entirely new.

Wings.

A new body.

A new way of being.

Sometimes in life,

We also have moments that feel still on the outside.

Moments where we rest.

Moments where we feel unsure.

Moments where we are changing in ways that no one else can see.

But,

Just like the caterpillar,

That doesn't mean nothing is happening.

It means transformation is taking place.

Take another slow breath in and imagine your own chrysalis around you.

A soft,

Golden shell of safety.

Inside it,

You are allowed to grow.

To change.

To become.

Days pass in your imagination.

And then,

A tiny crack appears in the chrysalis.

Light slips through.

The butterfly begins to push against the shell.

Push,

Push and push again.

Did you know butterflies must struggle a little to get out?

That gentle pushing helps strengthen their wings.

If someone opened the chrysalis for them,

Their wings wouldn't grow strong enough to fly.

Sometimes,

The hard parts of growing help us become stronger too.

Finally,

The shell opens and a butterfly emerges.

Its wings are soft at first,

Crumpled and delicate.

The butterfly rests,

Letting sunlight warm and dry them.

Butterflies taste with their feet.

They sip nectar from flowers using a long,

Straw-like tongue.

And they see colours that humans can't even see.

When the butterfly is ready,

It lifts.

Slowly,

Gracefully,

It rises up into the sky.

Imagine you are rising too.

Feel lightness in your shoulders.

Feel space in your chest.

And a gentleness in your heart.

Metamorphosis means complete transformation.

A total change.

Spiritually,

It reminds us that we are always becoming.

You are not meant to stay the same forever.

You are allowed to outgrow old thoughts,

Old fears,

Old versions of yourself.

Just like the caterpillar.

Just like the butterfly.

Take one more slow breath in.

And imagine colourful wings unfolding behind you.

Feel proud of your growing,

Your learning,

Your becoming.

And remember,

Change is not something to fear.

It is something magical.

And whenever life feels quiet or slow,

You can trust that beautiful things may be forming inside of you.

Take another deep breath in.

And out.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Begin to notice the room around you.

Begin to feel your fingers and toes by starting to wriggle them now.

Carry the feeling of light wings and brave transformation with you.

And know this,

You can return to this peaceful meadow any time you need.

Any place,

Any moment.

You may continue resting if your body wishes,

Or gently rise and continue your day with soft butterfly courage in your heart.

Until next time,

Bye for now,

My friend.
