This is a short but super effective meditation practice to help you end the day feeling relaxed.
You can make use of it every evening before going to bed,
Giving your body and mind a proper shutdown and allowing them to let go of any tension.
And let's start by finding a comfortable sitting or laying position,
And when you feel ready,
Begin by taking some deep,
Relaxing breaths.
Now bring your awareness to how your breath feel,
Noticing the cooler air going into your nostril and out,
Letting go of any tension in your body.
Allow your body to get loose and lazy.
Take another deep breath in and letting go of any thoughts and images in your mind.
It's almost like all the lights have gone out in your mind,
You don't see anything anymore and there is nothing else for you to even pay attention to.
It's just this nice quietness in your mind and every sound around you,
It will help you to relax even deeper.
Feel the quality of your breath as they get slower and longer by the second.
And now take the last few breaths,
Breathing in all the relaxation that you need and letting go of anything else that you no longer require.
Breathing in relaxation and out,
Letting go.
And once more,
Breathing in relaxation and out,
Letting go.
Notice how comfortable and lazy your body and mind feel and allow yourself to bring this quality as you go to your bed later and allow yourself to enjoy a deep restorative sleep and I will see you next time.
