Transcript

Let yourself slow down just enough to notice.

Thoughts often move quickly,

But the body has its own rhythm.

Bring your attention to something slower,

The natural movement of breathing,

The steady beat inside the chest.

You don't need to measure it,

You don't need to follow it closely.

Just notice that this rhythm is already slower than far.

The body doesn't rush,

It doesn't try to get anywhere.

You can let attention rest with this slower pace.

If the mind speeds up,

That's okay.

You don't need to slow it down.

Simply stay with what moves gently,

What repeats without effort,

A rhythm that continues whether you notice it or not.

Nothing to synchronize,

Nothing to manage.

Just resting with the body's pace.

You can stay here for a few quiet moments.
