No matter what I'm going through.
I am on my own side.
Feel that shift from pressure to support,
From criticism to companionship.
Now bring to mind a situation in your life,
Something that has been weighing on you.
Notice what your usual inner response is.
And now,
Consciously choose a new response.
Instead of saying,
I cannot handle this,
Say,
I will take this one step at a time.
Instead of,
I am not good enough,
Say,
I am growing and that is enough.
Let this new voice feel real,
Like a steady anchor within you.
Now take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Gently affirm,
I am safe within myself.
Again,
Inhale and exhale,
I have my own back.
Rest in this feeling of inner support,
