Good morning and welcome to this virtual space of gratitude and positivity.
By choosing to begin your day with an open heart and a focus on abundance,
You're inviting in joy and creating a foundation for happiness.
Together we'll reflect on the blessings in your life,
Open your heart to new opportunities and set a positive tone for the day ahead.
Let's start by finding a comfortable position.
Sit upright with your spine tall,
Your shoulders relaxed and your hands resting gently in your lap or wherever feels natural to you.
Close your eyes softly or if you'd prefer to keep them open,
Just soften your gaze and then take a deep breath in through the nose,
Allowing the air to fill your lungs and expand your chest.
Hold it gently at the top for a moment and then exhale slowly out through your mouth,
Releasing any tension or heaviness.
We're going to take two more breaths like this,
Inhale deeply,
Hold and then exhale slowly out through the mouth.
With each breath,
Just let your body soften and your mind grow a little quieter.
The last one now,
Another big,
Deep inhale,
Holding at the top and when you feel ready to do so,
Just exhaling,
Nice,
Long,
Slow exhale out through the mouth.
Now,
Just let your breathing settle into its natural rhythm.
With each inhale,
Imagine drawing in fresh energy and with each exhale,
Release anything that might cloud your mind or your heart.
Let your breath guide you into this moment.
Now gently bring to mind something you feel grateful for.
It might be something big like the love of a friend or family member or even just something small like the comfort of your bed or the warmth of a cup of coffee.
Whatever you chose,
Picture this source of gratitude clearly in your mind.
Notice how it makes you feel.
Maybe you sense warmth in your chest,
Perhaps a soft smile naturally comes to your face or just a sort of subtle lightness in your body.
Take a moment to silently say thank you for this gift.
Let yourself fully appreciate the joy that it brings you.
Now think of another small joy,
Perhaps the beauty of nature,
A kind word from someone or even the simple fact that you woke up this morning.
Let your heart expand as you bring these blessings to mind,
One by one.
And then let's take this moment to really honor and appreciate all the goodness that's already present in your life.
Now I'd like to invite you to imagine the day that lies ahead of you.
See if you can picture it unfolding in a way that fills your heart with joy.
How would today have to go that I feel joy in my heart?
And now begin to see yourself moving through your day with a sense of ease and positivity,
Noticing opportunities for connection,
Growth and happiness.
Imagine small moments that make you smile,
Perhaps a kind interaction,
A moment of creativity or just the feeling of accomplishing something meaningful.
Really see yourself in your mind's eye,
Noticing and appreciating these moments as they come,
Letting gratitude guide you.
Now see yourself as if you reached the end of the day,
Reflecting on all the good that came your way.
Imagine feeling grateful for every experience that you had today,
Knowing that even challenges helped you to grow.
Let this image of a day filled with gratitude and positivity inspire you.
And now we'll take a moment,
I'd like to invite you to just mentally list three things which you're grateful for.
Again these can be anything big or small,
Past or present,
But whatever comes to mind.
Each time you think of something for which you are grateful to have in your life,
Silently say thank you.
If it feels good to do so,
Consider what you're looking forward to today.
Is there something you're excited about or hopeful for?
Let this anticipation fill you with positivity.
For the next few minutes,
See if you can simply rest in a sense of gratitude.
There's nothing you need to do,
No need to strive or think ahead,
Just let yourself be now,
Just breathing in the abundance of each moment.
And if your mind begins to wander,
Just gently guide it back to the sensation of your breath,
Flowing in and out.
Let each breath remind you of all there is to be grateful for,
All that you've ever received and all that you are still to receive.
Let's now affirm this mindset of gratitude and positivity with a few gentle statements.
Repeat them silently or aloud,
Letting each one deepen your sense of abundance and happiness.
I am grateful for this new day and all it will bring.
I choose to see the good in my life and the world around me.
My heart is open to joy,
Connection and opportunity.
Gratitude guides me and positivity fills my day.
Take a moment to feel these affirmations resonate within you as though they are planting seeds of joy right into your heart.
And then take one final deep breath in and let it out slowly.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes and bring yourself back to your present environment and when you feel ready to do so,
Begin to gently open your eyes.
And yeah,
Return to your surroundings,
Know that you've already begun your day with gratitude and positivity.
This mindset is your compass,
Guiding you to notice and appreciate the good in every moment.
Thank yourself for showing up this morning,
For choosing to cultivate a positive open heart.
