Explore MeditationLeah Marie Serna’s journey into yoga began over 30 years ago, when she first awakened to the power of self-healing and inner connection. Her introduction to Hatha yoga and meditation came during an extended stay at Muktananda’s (Gurumayi’s) ashram in the sacred Tansa Valley of Maharashtra, India, in her twenties. That foundational experience planted the seeds of a lifelong practice that would continue to deepen over the decades. As Leah committed to a daily practice, something profound began to shift. With each conscious breath, she found herself releasing old emotional wounds and experiencing a renewed sense of vitality. Yoga became more than a practice—it became a way of living, helping her move through the world with greater balance, clarity, and groundedness. Today, Leah is the co-owner and studio manager of Studio Nine in Camrose, Alberta, where she teaches yoga classes and holds space for others on their own paths of healing and transformation. Her approach is rooted in authenticity, presence, and the belief that each conscious breath offers a chance to begin again.
