This soul medley is called Tender Ground.
It's created to support you in times of uncertainty.
When you're not quite sure what's next,
But something in you might be quietly becoming.
This meditation is about meeting yourself with gentleness.
Allowing your nervous system to soften.
Letting your body rest into something deeper.
It may help you feel more regulated,
More connected,
And more trusting of your own inner rhythm,
Even when life feels unclear.
So take a moment.
And get comfortable.
Allow yourself to lie down,
Maybe with a pillow under your knees and a blanket over you,
And make sure you feel truly supported and at ease.
Take a moment to notice the room you're in.
Notice the light.
The colors.
Take in everything around you.
And when you're ready,
I invite you to close your eyes.
And allow yourself to fall into the surface beneath you.
You are supported.
You are allowed to relax.
This is a safe space.
And slowly.
Let your attention come to your breath.
Notice how your breath flows in and out in its own rhythm.
Notice temperature.
Texture.
And just feel the air moving in and out of your body.
And then take a deep breath in through your nose and fill up the whole body with air from the bottom of the body all the way to the top of the head and hold your breath here home.
And exhale slowly out.
And as you exhale,
Allow your body to drop a little deeper into the surface.
Relax a little more.
Letting go a little more.
Inhale again,
Fill the whole body with air.
And hold your breath at the top.
Home.
And exhale slowly out.
Again allow your body to let go just a little more drop a little deeper.
Now let's take a few moments to move your awareness through your body.
Allow your attention to rest gently on each part,
One at a time.
Allow your awareness to move down to your feet.
Your ankles.
Notice any sensations there.
Allow your feet and your ankles to become heavy,
Warm,
Soft.
And then allow your awareness to travel up towards your legs.
Notice your shins,
Your knees,
Your thighs.
And allow your whole leg to become warm.
Soft.
Heavy.
Just notice.
Moving up a little further into your pelvis and your hips.
What do you notice there?
And you allow the back of your pelvis to melt into the surface beneath you and the front of the hips to slowly let go.
Allowing the whole area to become warm.
Soft.
And happy.
Then continue up a little further to the whole area of your stomach,
Your intestines,
Middle part of your spine.
What do you notice there?
Texture.
Sensations.
And allow that whole area.
Come and suffer with me.
Traveling up a little further to the area of your heart,
Around your heart.
What do you notice there?
Can you feel your heart?
Or maybe just a sense of it.
Of a part of your spine.
Ribcage Allow that area to start to soften.
To become one.
Continuing up into your shoulders.
Arms,
Your elbows,
Your wrists,
Your fingers.
What do you notice there?
You allow your whole arm and your hands to become warm.
Soft.
And heavy.
All the way up to the throat.
In the neck.
What do you notice?
A little further up to the very top of the neck,
That little space of in between the top vertebra and the base of the skull.
Can you allow that area to soften?
Come along.
Heavy.
A melting sensation.
And as you are melting in the top of the neck.
Notice how your jaw starts melting.
The throat.
The neck all the way into the heart.
Move all the way up to your eyes.
Just have a sensation that you turn your eyes backwards.
Allowing your eyeballs to fall into your head.
Softening.
And then slowly.
I invite you to lower your chin slightly.
As if you were looking over a beautiful balcony.
And here.
You see a staircase in front of you.
Beautiful staircase.
That leads downward.
You're standing at the top.
Looking down at your feet.
And you begin to walk down the stairs.
And with each step you take.
You become more and more relaxed.
More and more safe.
You can see your feet.
Hear your feet.
And feel your feet going down.
Nine.
8.
Seven.
Six.
5.
And your muscles become soft and warm and you feel heavier and heavier.
4.
3.
.
Too.
One.
And when I snap my fingers you become even more relaxed.
You become 10 times more relaxed.
You become 20 times more relaxed.
30 times more relaxed.
And you're asleep.
And you become even more calm,
Safe and relaxed.
And of course it's not you that is asleep.
It's your nervous system that is now deeply calm and open to reprogramming.
Now.
Imagine yourself lying or standing on soft,
Moist earth.
Spring soil.
It's alive.
It's open.
It's nourishing.
And you are a part of it.
There is a steadiness here.
There is breath.
There is room for becoming.
And there is nowhere you need to be but here,
On this tender ground that holds you,
Even as life moves around you.
Feel the contact between your body and the surface beneath you.
Feel your breath.
You're warm.
And feel how life is present inside of you,
Even now.
And then bring your awareness to your heart space.
What is present here?
Maybe there is something that wants gentleness.
A place that longs to be seen.
Allow your presence to be this warm embrace.
Now imagine a small sprout beneath the surface.
Just beginning to grow.
It stretches towards something even without knowing how.
It moves.
Trusts the pull of life.
Maybe that's you.
Maybe it's something within you that you are not alone.
All of life is growing with you.
Take a moment and whisper these words to yourself with me.
I am allowed to grow in my own rhythm.
Even when I do not see it yet.
Something in me is becoming.
I am supported by something deeper than thought.
Tenderness is strength.
Every breath brings me closer to myself.
I am held by life even when I am still.
What is true in me grows quietly,
Patiently and fully.
I am loved.
I am lovable.
And it's safe to be me.
And let your body rest in this knowing.
Let your nervous system soak in the feeling of being held.
In this quiet space of in-between,
You are home.
You are rooted in a gentle kind of hope.
You are on tender ground.
And you are safe here.
And stay here a little longer.
Let the ground hold you.
Let the stillness wrap around you like a soft moss.
And if something in you feels uncertain.
Let it rest for a while.
No effort.
No direction.
Just allow your beingness.
Allow yourself to soften,
To be exactly where you are.
You are allowed to begin slowly.
To begin quietly.
To begin again.
Even if nothing can be seen yet,
Something is unfolding.
Something tender is finding its way.
And let that be enough.
Now slowly turn towards the staircase again.
And in your own timing,
You begin to walk up the stairs.
And with each step you take.
You become more and more awake.
And more and more present.
And you return gradually to presence on every level.
One.
2 3.
.
And with each step,
You become more and more back into your body and into the room.
Four and five.
And when I snap my fingers,
You're fully present in your body,
In this room,
On every level,
Knowing that you are so loved and so lovable.
Turn your awareness.
Back to the space around you,
Gentle open your eyes.
Notice sounds in the room.
Notice what you see.
Feel your body and slowly in your time bring movement back to your fingers and your toes and your body and stretch or move if you need to.
And know this.
You are loved.
You are lovable.
And you are in this beautiful process of becoming.
Thank you for taking this time to be here.
