If you are watching this,
Chances are you've been carrying a heavy cognitive and emotional load lately.
In my 20 years of working with human behavior and sitting across from individuals in the therapy room,
Navigating intense life transitions,
I've noticed a profound pattern.
We often tend to view major life changes like changing a career or leaving a relationship or shifting our entire lifestyle as these big sudden events that just happen.
But the truth is,
The actual shift happens long before the external world sees it.
It's that subtle internal evolution where your soul,
Your intellect and your energy slowly begin to detach from a reality that no longer fits you.
You haven't left the room quite yet,
You're still doing the work,
You're still showing up for family and you're still answering the emails.
But internally you notice that you've already stepped across the threshold.
This invisible shift is often met with immense guilt because you look at your life on paper and it might look perfectly fine.
It might even look like everything you absolutely ever wanted.
And so when the internal shift begins,
You try to suppress it because guilt begins to rise.
You tell yourself to work harder,
To be more grateful,
Or to just push through the exhaustion until you forget about it.
But you see,
The truth is you can't see what you've already seen.
If you are feeling a deep soul level fatigue right now,
I want to validate that for you.
It's not because you lack resilience.
It's because navigating the middle space,
The gap between your new internal reality and your old external life,
Requires a massive amount of psychological energy.
You have a duty to yourself to be honest about not having it figured all out.
You have one beautiful life ahead of you,
And whilst that life may be filled with grief,
Anxiety,
Or even incredible sadness,
Feeling as though you are stuck and allowing yourself to admit that you do not have to have everything figured out today.
May be the best thing that has ever happened to you.
This is a space we are going to use to honor these exact human realities together.
Thank you for trusting me with your time.
I'll see you in our first audio practice where together we will continue to explore the realities of what makes us human.
