Namaskaram.
This is Arunendra.
Welcome to day one of Navaratri meditation.
Keep the lights dim.
Find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed.
Sit comfortably,
Keeping your spine straight but relaxed.
Gently close your eyes.
Remember if there is any discomfort in your back,
Knees or in any body part,
Use chair,
Couch or anything where you can keep your back in resting position.
Now let's begin the meditation.
Take a slow and deep breath in and exhale slowly.
Inhale again deeply and exhale slowly.
One more.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale slowly.
Let your body begin to soften.
Let your shoulders relax.
Let your body begin to soften.
Let your face,
Your jaw,
Your forehead become completely at ease.
Breath.
Just observe it without putting any force without changing anything.
Today we connect with Mata Shailputri.
The daughter of the mountains.
The embodiment of strength,
Stability and grounding.
She is the first form of Mata Parvati representing a new beginning,
A fresh rooted start.
Now gently bring your awareness to the base of your spine.
Visualize a warm glowing red light at the base of your body.
This light is steady,
Strong,
Unmoving.
With every inhale,
This red light grows brighter.
With every exhale,
It spreads stability throughout your body.
Silently you repeat Devi Shailputri Namah.
Feel the vibration of these words grounding you deeper like roots growing from your body into the earth.
Now imagine yourself standing on a vast mountain.
Strong winds may blow but you remain steady.
Nothing can shake you.
You are supported.
You are safe.
You are grounded.
Feel the presence of Goddess Shailputri beside you.
Powerful.
Unshakable.
Let her energy merge with yours.
Now gently reflect on your life.
Where do you feel unstable?
Where do you feel fear,
Insecurity or restlessness?
Without judgment,
Just observe.
Now imagine placing all those fears into the red light.
Watch them dissolve.
Transforming into strength.
Silently affirm,
I am safe.
I am grounded.
I trust life.
I stand strong like a mountain.
Feel these words settling deep within you.
Now slowly begin to bring your awareness back to your breath.
Feel the air entering and leaving your body.
Feel your body,
Your presence this moment.
Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale.
Gently move your fingers,
Your toes.
Ready,
Softly open your eyes.
Gentle smile on your face.
Carry this grounding energy with you throughout your day.
Thank you.
Do share your experience.
Stay healthy and happy.
I will see you in day 2 meditation.
