The way we start the day sets the tone for the rest of the day.
So let's begin by becoming more present,
Centering ourselves in this moment.
Take deep slow breaths in through your nose if you can,
Filling your lungs gently and breathing out with a nice long slow exhale.
And feel it as you breathe all the way out in your own time.
And then let your breath just return to normal.
And begin to become aware of your body resting here.
Be aware of your body,
Of your arms and your legs.
And then repeat these words in your head or out loud.
I am present,
I am here,
I am focused and I am clear.
I notice my thoughts and I choose to stay calm.
I'm grateful for this day and I will seize every opportunity that comes my way.
Now take a few deep positive intentional breaths.
Breathe in deep through your nose,
Fill your lungs,
Let it all go with a long slow exhale.
And then as you breathe in deeply again,
Breathe in clarity and breathe out calm.
Breathe in clarity,
Breathe out calm.
And breathe in confidence.
And breathe out peace.
Breathe in confidence and breathe out peace.
Take another deep breath in,
Fill your lungs and hold the breath for a moment and then let it all go and relax your body.
Now raise your eyes up gently,
Up to your forehead and soften your breath.
And breathe gently into your forehead.
A breath of calm,
A breath of clarity,
A breath of soft intentional energy into your forehead.
Some people like to see a soft light glowing there in the forehead.
A kind and supportive light.
A light that glows a little brighter each time you breathe in.
A light that radiates peace as you breathe out.
A light that's with you throughout your day each time you stop,
Take a moment and bring your attention gently to your forehead.
And now let's set a positive intention for the day.
Today is going to be a calm day.
A focused day.
A clear day.
Today is going to be a positive day.
I will be present.
I will be strong.
I will be kind.
I seize today and I make it mine.
And accept all that comes my way.
And now let's just sit in silence for three more minutes.
