Today I chose to write to you in whispers,

Soft as sunlight touching dew,

Gentle as the oceans sigh.

I see you,

The you beneath the masks,

The you who still holds the weight of forgotten dreams,

The you who keeps showing up,

Even when the world feels too heavy to bear.

You have carried so much,

Haven't you?

Bruises wrapped in silence,

Stories that begged to be spoken,

But instead became shadows.

And still you stand,

Resilient,

Radiant,

Unbreakable in your breaking.

But oh,

My love,

This is not a war you need to fight.

You are not here to conquer yourself,

To punish,

To prove,

To perfect.

You are here to remember the song in your heart,

To reclaim the softness you once abandoned in the name of survival.

So breathe,

Breathe as if each inhale is a thread of light weaving you back together.

Exhale every story that told you love must be earned.

Place your hands over your chest,

Feel the rhythm of your becoming,

Do you hear it?

The steady drumbeat of your worth,

Unchanged,

Unshaken,

Through every storm that tried to silence it.

I see the cracks in your armor and call them constellations.

I see the ache in your eyes and call it poetry.

I see your fears and call them tender teachers.

You are allowed to rest,

To let the world fall away for a while,

To cradle yourself in your own arms and whisper,

I am here for you.

And when you rise,

As you always do,

Do it slowly,

Gently,

Without haste,

For you are not a fire to be extinguished,

But a star meant to burn steadily,

Lighting the way back to yourself.

With every word,

I send you love,

Like drops of rain soaking the soil of your soul,

Reminding you that healing is not a destination,

But a garden you tend to with patience.

I love you now,

Not for who you were,

Not for who you will become,

But for who you are in this moment,

This breath,

This heartbeat,

Forever yours.

Thank you for putting into words, into exquisite poetry, a love letter to myself. I feel I have been given a blessing. And I will listen to this love letter to myself over and over. Namaste🙏🏼💫💫💫
