Hi there,
Welcome to your acupressure practice.
In this practice,
We're going to be exploring three different acupressure points.
We'll be stimulating each of those points for about one minute on each side of our bodies.
Our first point is kidney one,
Which is located at the bottom of our feet,
Near the ball of our feet.
So to find it,
Point your foot,
Find the indentation near the ball of your foot,
Place a thumb there,
Relax your foot.
Now do the same on the other side.
And now you have found kidney one.
You can either apply consistent,
Gentle pressure there,
Or you can make circles,
Whichever one feels best to you.
And release.
Next,
We'll stimulate stomach 36,
Which is located just underneath our kneecap.
On the outside of our shin bone.
So to find it,
Take four fingers,
Place it underneath your kneecap.
Then go down to your pinky,
Go underneath your pinky and place an index finger there.
On top of your shin.
Then move that index finger to the outside of your shin bone.
Now,
You might feel a tender spot there,
Or you might not.
You might just feel what feels a little more muscular or meaty.
Whatever you find,
Go ahead and massage there.
Of course,
Find that point on the other side as well.
And we'll massage for about one minute here.
And release.
Our final point is kidney 27,
Which is located just underneath our clavicle,
Just to the outside of our sternum.
So bring your fingers to your clavicle,
Slide down beneath your clavicle,
And on the outside of your sternum.
You'll either massage there,
Press there,
Or tap there.
I like to tap.
Bring your hands to rest on your thighs or knees.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale fully.
Thank you for allowing me to guide you in this practice.
Bye for now.
