The Corigaria is one of three cauldrons that is located around the belly area.
And it is the cauldron of warming.
It's the foundational cauldron that all of us are born with.
We then have the Cora Arame.
The Cauldron of Change,
Of Motion,
Which is located in the chest area.
And then we have the Cauldron of Such,
Which is the Cauldron of Knowledge,
Of Wisdom.
And it is located in the head area.
The three cauldrons are a set of teachings that arrive through a poem called the Cauldron of Posey.
One of the most renowned translations of this poem,
Which is in Old Irish,
Is by Liam Bratnach.
And it appears in the journal Eru in 1981 and is part of the Royal Ulster Academy.
And is held in Trinity College in Dublin.
This work does stem from real literature and at the same time it is much deeper than that.
It is part of an oral tradition that was recorded by Christian monks in the coming of Christianity into Ireland.
It has its roots in a very old tradition.
And so we're unable to really confirm when this poem arrived in oral tradition.
But it does reflect a practice that the Druids of Ireland would have moved through as bards moving through their practice,
Connecting with the land,
Being part of the land and also really connecting with the wisdom from within.
Opening themselves up to be channels of this divine,
Sacred and inspirational energy that moves through this energy of creation,
This energy of change,
Of making.
And this is a poem that is offered to you.
Those who are walking this path of divine inspiration,
Poetic inspiration,
Known as imbas,
Of receiving and channeling wisdom into the work that we offer into this world as both creatives and also as people open to making.
So even though this work is originally offered to poets and writers and bards and druids,
My understanding of it is it's an offering for people who are making,
Are changing,
Are contributing to society in some level that offers inspiration and offers wisdom.
This original poem has really lovely and rich roots.
And so this first cauldron,
The cauldron of warming,
Your coraguria,
Is the foundational cauldron.
And so it is a cauldron that we can sit with.
We don't need to move into the Cora Hermae or the Cora Sush.
We can sit and really be and tend to our Cora Guria.
And this is monumental work.
This is really deep digging and clearing and cleansing and sitting with what is our foundations in life.
How do we grow?
What is the soil?
What is the dirt?
What is the structures that hold us?
As we move then into the Kura Ereme,
The Cauldron of Motion of Change,
That is where our life experiences start to merge and move and shift and we start to make and play and sing and experience all of the emotions,
The joys,
The sorrows,
And that becomes part of the work that we are here to bring into the world.
It then moves up into our Kura which is the cauldron of knowledge,
Of divine wisdom.
And so this is where we really connect with this channel.
We are open.
We are co-creators.
We are collaborating with life itself and receiving the wisdom of the earth.
We are making in collaboration with the land,
With the mountains,
With the rivers,
With each other,
With the sacred and divine in each other.
And so while moving through all three cauldrons is desirable.
I really invite you to pause and be with your Coraguria.
This is the foundation.
This is the cauldron that really holds all of the work that we're doing.
And so it is a cauldron that we might want to sit with for many months before we start to move into our core RMA.
Thank you so much for being here.
Grá agus bonnachtaí,
Love and blessings.
