Today,

Let's look and learn about a new landscape.

The inner terrain of our own being.

We hear about this more and more lately,

The value of meditation,

But when it comes down to doing it,

Not always so easy.

Allow me to guide you inward for a few precious moments.

Let's feel stillness.

Let's invite stillness,

Our own pure consciousness.

Separate this present moment from any thoughts of what's past and any thoughts of what hasn't happened yet.

Just now,

Let's isolate.

Drop down into the body,

Deepen your breath.

Notice sensations of this body that carries you day after day.

Shift if you need to.

Honor what the body needs.

Notice thoughts.

What are they?

Kind of like clouds in the sky.

They form.

They pass.

Drifting away,

Leaving us fluid and open.

Breathe long audible breaths,

Anchoring to this moment.

Allow the breath to carry you,

To hold you.

Can you feel that being held?

With each breath,

Ground into the stillness.

This is the answer to overwhelm.

It is peace.

It is yours.

If you can learn to find it,

Can you come here daily?

Practice being this stillness.

It's all here within this inner landscape.

If a thought arises,

Allow it.

Let it come to you.

Let it come to you.

This is the inner landscape.

If a thought arises,

Allow it.

Don't judge it.

Watch it pass.

Perhaps you might notice resistance or impatience.

All normal human reactions allow.

It'll pass.

Can you find value in this?

Can you find value in this space?

Let this be sacred in your day.

A place you can return to whenever you need.

Can you find yourself in this space?

Feel the presence.

Feel the presence.

Whenever you need.

Can you find yourself in this space?

Feel the presence of you.

Without the chatter,

Without the opinions and the judgment.

Just acceptance.

Acceptance.

Feel that.

Stay with that.

Sit on your own for a few more moments,

Lingering in this space.

See what comes up for you.

Take it in.

Stay inside.

This is your time.
