This 24-minute music experience was inspired by research on how specially designed music may support people during anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm. In one study, listeners reported greater calm and emotional balance after listening. A duration of around 24 minutes was found to be an optimal listening duration, being as effective as longer interventions while also more effective than pink noise such as rain or ocean sounds.Inspired by this, I combined atmospheric music pieces into one continuous flow with smooth transitions and a calming structure.
